Snacks
So I have found some popcorn that is 100 calories per bag, they are small bags, but filling and I love it, not hardly any butter on them either. Is this considered a healthy snack. Sometimes I feel like I pick healthy foods out while the other times I feel like it's healthy but probably not.
What are some other things you do for a snack in between meals besides fruit/veggies/popcorn/string cheese
Anyone try the Laughing cow wedges with crackers, How is it?

laughing cow is amazing... I usually eat it on special k crackers... it really is a perfect snack that tastes sooo good. Kashi also has these dark chocolate coconut bars that are 120 caloires however they are hard to find but really tasty if you want something sweet

I think that Popcorn is a great snack! I sometimes forget about it. It seems like a night time snack. I should start bringing it to work with me.

Love the laughing cow. I have it on wheat thins flat breads. 2 big (2inx4in) are only 60 calories. Between the two I have a yummy crunchy snack for about 100 calories. I also really like pickled asparagus. It's a bit spicy and not quite as sour as dill pickles.

If I'm at home, and feeling snacky. I'll have a salad. It's is more than enough to tide me over til dinner, and it helps me get more veggies in, and I love my veggies.

I love the laughing cow babybel cheeses- a quick snack of cheese and it's SOO good! It comes in a small round wax that peels right off and you eat- yum!
I also like to eat veggies with FF ranch- usually I'll cut up cauliflower and have some FF ranch with it at night- YUM!

Love, Love, LOVE the Special K crackers...only I can't keep 'em in the house because I can't stay out of them. Crackers are bad for me. But it's the only cracker I've found that makes me FEEL like I've eaten something.

Mindi - we found the Special K crackers in individual, pre-packaged 90 calorie packs. It's really helpful for me in sticking to a single, planned portion and staying out of them when unplanned.

I eat the 100 calorie bags of popcorn all the time and I do consider them to be healthy snacks. I also love the Laughing Cow cheese; I haven't seen the Special K crackers but will look for them. I eat the LC cheese with the Tomato and Basil Wheat Thins. It's not too bad if I just eat one serving of the Wheat Thins. I actually weigh them out because otherwise it's too tempting to grab a handful!
Another thing I did recently was buy an 8 oz brick of cheddar cheese and immediately cut it into 8 equal little mini-chunks. That way, I can have a 1 oz piece of cheddar whenever I am wanting cheese.
Oh, and I buy the string cheese, too. Can you tell I love snacking on cheese!?? LOL

Low-fat cheddar cheese and low-fat, low-sodium crackers are my favourite snack. I also like the low-fat potato crisps I can get at Safeway for when I need to feel like I'm eating a *real* snack. I like RealFruit gummies for a sweet snack - you can't eat them too fast.

I've gotten back into roasted chickpeas. I sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on top. It's really good.
