Thanks for the suggestion to try the Stouffers Stuffed Green Pepper! I had one tonight and it was yummy! I'll be buying more of these. My grandma used to always make stuffed peppers when I was little, and this reminded me of hers. That is a big complement!

I tried the lemon & pepper fish one today, it was really good. I also bought the salmon one and will be trying it soon.

My favorite so far is Lean Cuisine Glazed Chicken. I add extra broccoli to the meal to make it more satisfying.

Lean Cuisine has a Potatoes and Broccoli with Cheese Sauce that is delicious too.

I'm veg, so there aren't a whole lot of choices for me, but I have to agree about the LC Asian Potstickers and Pumpkin Ravioli. They also have a Mediterranean Beans/Pasta that is good. We also like to have a veggie burger patty (gardenburger is our fave, followed by Morningstar) and also Morningstar veggie corndogs. One corndog or one patty along with a plate of steamed/sauteed veggies are soooo good. When tomato season was in, I had veggie burgers buried under tomatoes every night. No buns. Just maters and patties. (edited to say that I think these might be Healthy Choice and not Lean Cuisine....)

With all of the frozen dinners, I usually stretch them out with a bunch of stir fried or roasted veggies. I usually pour the dinner over the veggies because of the ridiculous amount of sauce!

As for curry, the frozen ones have a lot of calories, and are mostly sauce. At least the vegetarian ones are that way. I like to get Seeds of Change curry sauce in jars and pour that over the veggies/rice. I don't remember the calories, but you won't get any lower for an Indian cream sauce.

New to Calorie Counters.
I love this thread and I am going to make a list...

My favorite is Lean Cuisine- Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce

I gave up on South Beach and decided to count calories and eat a lot of
protein shakes and frozen meals . Then I try to cook low calorie at night.
I am stuck on 140 and want to get down to 130.

Here is another keeper! This one is not labeled "low calorie" or anything, but it is 370 calories. If you like hot spicy/sweet chinese food, this one is for you!

Kahiki brand - General Tso's Chicken

Awesome flavor.. definitely a keeper for me. I like to stay under about 350 cals with a frozen meal, but for this one I'd do the extra 20! Found it at Walmart.

OH BOY.. this is the thread I was looking for ....Thanks Guys...

I am making a list as I read through the posts... when I go to the store this after noon.. I am going also to Sam's.. I love edameme... and they have frozen individual packages.. that are perfect for me as a higher protein snack.. After all the dieting I have done this past year I found I need a lot higher protein content in my meals than I ever thougth so I watch everything to see exactly how much Protein it will add to the meal or snack.. That helps me stay satisfied LONGER...

When I found Chobani Greek Yogurt I was so shocked it is no sugar, no fat and ton's of protein... Great when i am extra hungry some days to fill one of their Big containers is only 130 cal .. usually I only eat 1/2 at a time...

Default Lean Cuisine veggie eggroll w veggie rice

One meal I had that I did like recently was the

Lean Cuisine veggie eggroll w veggie rice..

I happen to have an already cooked chicken breast in the frig. so it made a wonderful evening meal and as most of you all said there is plenty of sauce so I flavored the chicken breast nicely...and the chicken only added 70 cal to the meal so well within a good range for an evening meal. Very satisfying dinner.

Thanks for bumping it, emileigh

I recently had a really good one. It was Marie Callender's Turkey with stuffing & mashed potatoes & gravy. Also had green beans - which actually tasted like green beans - not the yucky tasting veggies found in a lot of meals. It was 350 calories.

I wish I could find more good, low cal mexican food ones. I really like spicy food. Anyone have any ideas?

I like that one also! But definitely not filling. It's a side dish, in my opinion. But like you, I added something in (tofu, veggies) and it was perfect. My major complaint about frozen dinners in the past is that they add unncessary calories of excess-and-too sweet sauce, and not enough real food. I guess it's cheaper that way. But at least with the egg roll dinner, there's plenty to mix in with whatever I add!

Amy's Kitchen Roasted Vegetable Tamale
Amy's Kitchen Black Bean Enchilada Whole Meal
Amy's Kitchen Vegetable Pie in a Pocket Sandwich
Amy's Kitchen Non-Dairy Vegetable Pot Pie
^ All are vegan and absolutely delicious. Everything I've tried from Amy's has been amazing- they have a lot of different frozen meals, and I've been trying a new one every time I go to the store.

I've also tried Kashi's Black Bean Mango and it was good.
