I mainly eat lean cuisines, I really like the santa fe beans and rice, and some of the turkey dinners. A lot of those are actually pretty good and can fill that need for pasta or heavy foods, but in a portion and calorie controlled way. Not to mention quick

INDIAN FROZEN ENTREES:
I get them at Sprouts, SuperTarget or Kroger. Sometimes they are placed in the organic section @ the market.
The vegetarian ball things are 200 calories for the box. Palak Paneer is 270 I think. Super YUM!

I am glad I asked - there are a lot of great suggestions here!!!
I hadn't thought of checking out the "regular" dinners - Marie Calendars is one of my fave brands (I used to get the peach cobbler for DH & in the past ate the pot pies now and then) and if they have a pasta trio for under 400 cals that one is a keeper for sure!
CJ - I am not a green pepper fan, but my DH loves loves loves Stouffers stuffed green peppers. He can be a hard one to please, so I know they have got to be good.
I need to add this thread to my subscriptions so I can keep referring back to it!

Darn it! I need to move to the States. We do have some of those brands here but not the variety. It might be worth grabbing a cooler and driving over to Watertown to shop some time soon.
Here in Canada we do have President's Choice which seems to be consistently good. His blue menu items include Chicken Tikki Masala (my fave), vegeterian chili, veggie lasagna, beef and spinach burgers, chicken Korma and other goodies. They run about $2.68 to $5 but are all consistently good. I always add an extra veggie.

Lean Cuisine:
Garlic chicken with creamy spinach
seasame chicken
Baked chicken with mashed potatoes and stuffing
I haven't seen in a long time but LOVED the penne pasta with tomatoe basil sauce
I also can no longer find morning star corn dogs (used to get other brands that were equally good and low fat, can't find those anymore either)

I like the Southbeach pizzas, but I can't find them in my area any more, but the website says they are still made.
MorningStar Farms used to have out a cornbread potpie that was really good... I can't find it anymore either, I think it was discontinued. Why am I mentioning ones that are no longer made? lol ... well, those were that good that I miss them and crave them sometimes.
I like all of the Lean Cusine's Flatbread pizzas and flat breads. the butternut squash ravioli one is very good also.
Smart ones have been hit or miss with me and I haven't found too many in their line that I really like. I usually prefer Lean Cusines.

do you find those at SuperTarget? I only have a Target Greatland by me, I wonder if they carry those.

CJZee, after seeing your post yesterday, I checked out the stuffed peppers label. I was quite surprised to see that the calorie count per serving was only 150. Excellent, and not even a diet product!

Oh man, I would kill to find some good Indian frozen food but all I've got to work with really is Aldi's and Walmart.... haven't looked at Jewel or Strack and Van Tils, but they're expensive!

My #1 favorite frozen meal is the Smart Ones Creamy Rigatoni with Broccoli and Chicken. It is delicious with just enough sauce and I usually buy a bag of the frozen broccoli to steam and eat on the side for extra veggies. I could eat this dinner every single day it's just that good.
Also Healthy Choice Chicken Margherita.

I have not tried frozen dinners in a looong time. I probably had a bad experience with a couple of them that turned me off for good. There are some very good suggestions in this thread I will try some of these out

The new Healthy Choice meals are phenomenal and I find them very filling. I think the only two I have not tried are the asian potstickers and the pumpkin ravioli. The others are great!

My favorite is Lean Cuisine french bread pizza... The deep dish 3 meat is good too though. And I gotta have my occasional fix of LC Pot Roast and mashed potatoes. I love the Marie Callendar's Pasta Al Dente line also!
I can't help but wonder though, why most of these brands use white pasta and bread in their meals. You would think they would use whole wheat. I just don't get it.
