I want to have a goal! So I'm 180 now, I want to lose 10 pounds and be 170 by Valentines. Maybe even to fit into a size 10/12 Valentine's dress instead of a 14/16.

bad day here...im having a bad case of the munchies...I think it all started when i awoke to my daughter eating icecream at 5 am. She had her wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I had my oatmeal and by 10 had caved in and had a bowl of icecream. Then lunch and now I just made a cake..This isnt good!! I also have went 3 days now without doing my workout video. I love it but with me being back to babysitting its hard to squeeze it in. I am still drinking all my water and all calories have been counted this far. I have only 500 left for dinner but should be ok...if i plan...oh thats what i didnt do today. I didnt plan out my meals and it always messes me up!! I will plan tommorow and eat light to make up for bad choices today.
hugs

Hi all, mind if I join?

I don't have a weight goal, but moreso calorie and exercise goals:

- 1500-1700 calorie intake
- Exercise 4-5 days a week
- Burn 2000-2500 calories from exercising each week

Yesterday was great, I got in 40 minutes at the gym and burned 550 cals on the crosstrainer (thank you, HRM!) We had a long day yesterday and I'm sooo tired today, but I am making myself go to the gym for at least 30 minutes. I can do that, right?

Hi CC Friends!

Just a quickie post to say hello. I hope everyone has had/is having a wonderful day. I am exhausted and going off to bed without much posting tonight. It was a great, but busy day here. I am POP and had a great cardio session - I went in telling myself I only had to do 30 minutes..I just didn't think I had it in me....well, I did the full 45 minutes and my ab and stretching work afterwards!

Talk to ya more tomorrow!

I haven't been using the treadmill at all, and I had never watched "The Biggest Loser" at all, so I decided to combine the two and walked the whole duration of the show. I didn't know it was 2 hours when I started!

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie. I know this is soon, but I would like to jump in if I can. I would love to lose 10 pounds by Valentine's day!! It would put me on the right track for sure!! I did start only today, and I actually started my exercise program as well. I've got it planned out, I want to see how well I can do!! Thanks!!

Today was good. I ate about 1,600 calories (my goal is to stay in the 1150-1350 range, so I did go over a bit). However, I only had 21g net carbs, so I'm happy about that.

I also tried the recipe for Flax "Muffin-in-a-minute" that was posted on the Atkins thread by Jerseygyrl... it was quite good. By my TDP calculations, it has 329cals, but pretty much no net carbs! Its pretty much all fiber. If you have a mid-level cal range and you're watching your carbs, I definitely recommend it! You mix up the batter (that takes like 2 mins to make) into a teacup or mug, and you microwave it for a minute, and viola! You got yourself a muffin! I ate it with my blue cheese & mushroom quiche muffins, and all-in-all I would say it was a pretty good breakfast.

I also did my Abs Diet DVD this morning, although I did skip out on a few of the exercises in the circuit. I've been on a 1-month break though so my inability to sustain is of no surprise. I'm going to work up to it.

Hope everyone had a good day.
Congrats BarbPA for pulling through with your abs routine. Way to go!

Id like to join this challenge, kick start my diet. My goal is to lose 7lbs by then. Its less than 2lbs a week so it should be managable. My plan is to eat 1200-1500 cals a day and get some form of exercise 3 times a week. Sound like an ok plan? Not very much exercise but id like to take it slow, then maybe kick it up after v-day if its all going well.

HI All,
Cheryl told me about this thread from another one. You guys seems pretty chatty which is what I need for some support! I'll set a goal of 15 pound by Valentine's Day. ( I assume that's what I'm supposed to do.) I have a long way to go to reach my goal.
Cheryl, you're an inspiration! I am sorta in the same boat you were. I'm at 215 and need to get to about 135.
Query: I know I should drink lots of water but at the end of the day yesterday I felt a scratchy throat and so I switched to green tea. I don't suppose that can count like water, can it?
I am too new to have one of those weight loss goal thingys!
Keep up the good work everyone!

If anything, I feel motivated just by wanting to keep up with the rest of you ladies! Geez, you are work out fiends!

I made it to the gym yesterday, and logged in 35 minutes of cardio. I REALLY did not want to go, but did anyway... I'm glad because my scale rewarded me this morning.
