Funny to see someone post this...on a whim today, I decided I deserved some "cute" bras & panties since I can now fit into "regular" sizes. It's amazing, that world beyond granny pants and "full figured" bras! I just started my new collection today and can't wait to get more (DH agrees, lol!)
I still have a ways to go before I can really wear any "sexy" clothes in public, but I'm so much more interested in fashion/trends now and things that actually show my shape instead of hiding it. It's really a whole different world.

Keep going girl!!! Yes! I cant wait to purchase some things from Victoria's Secret other than lotions and socks lol At 182 what size are you wearing now. Im curious because I was 280 and 180 was like my mini goal but I might get the look I want at 180.

At 274 lbs, I was between a 24 and a 26. 92 pounds later, I'm between a 14 and a 16. I'm big around the middle (I guess apple shaped, but I'm starting to develop a waist now, yay!) so I tend to wear clothes a little bigger than a lot of other people my height/weight. I could probably go a little smaller if I was cool about showing my "spare tire" to the world, lol.
Getting into the 14 range, I'm really feeling I'm starting to get out of that "overlap" size 16. It is funny how 16 regular and 16W (as well as XL vs. 1x) are actually different sizes. Only us formerly plus sized girls would get the difference...it means shopping in the "regular" sizes vs. the "women's" section!
Depending on how you carry your weight, you may very well look how you want to at 180. There's a website someone linked here where people submit pics of themselves and you can see different people the same height/weight as you (or of whatever weight you're interested in.) Some people at 180 look like I did at 150 (way back when). It's really amazing how different we all are.
Keep up with your plan and you'll be rockin' the sexy stuff in no time!

HAHA
This is a very FUN thread!
I'm nowhere NEAR "there", but I know what I am planning for once I arrive--or at least get close.
I have a colleague that entertained my ego for "Strip to Fit"! Basically, it's pole dancing your way to lose weight, gain muscle, and motivate your confidence. While I am NO WAY motivated or inclined to hop right up on a ((eek)) stripper pole , I have been entertaining the idea of a Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease/lapdance for the DH
((soon 2b ticker)) HA

I bought a red string bikini. LOL! I've worn it, too! I'm not saying I "should" have...LOL...but I did. :-)
But, the sexiest thing I wear is a tank top with blue jean shorts and a belt. I love it! It's simple but complimentary to a slim figure. Weeeee!

I stopped wearing huge shirts to the gym to cover my bum but then that created VPL so I now wear thongs to the gym. My hubby goes nuts. He loves them! LOL

Ladies you really inspire me! Can't wait to be able to actually wear some cute things. Every time I go to the mall or online its all about fab spring clothes, I haven't had any new stylish clothes in almost 4 years. I'm tired of wearing sweats and t shirts everyday lol Keep up the good work!

Most of the stuff I'd like to list, I shouldn't mention on a public forum. Suffice it to say that my husband and I have both appreciated the changes we've made since we started living a healthier, more active lifestyle. We have appreciated these changes from many novel angles and under many lighting conditions. I don't have an ounce of shyness or "ew-don't-touch-that-it's-fat" left; I feel too good in my own body not to enjoy it fully.
I have a nice range of new panties, too. I was hanging onto a Christmas gift card until I had bigger weight loss, but you know, a sale on panties is nothing to take lightly.
When I was a kid, my favorite colors were pink, red, and purple. I recently realized that a lot of my current wardrobe is black and gray. Like, a LOT. I still like black and gray, but I've made it a point to re-introduce pinks and purples and reds wherever I can. These colors feel cheerful and beautiful; I love wearing them again and don't know why I ever let myself stop. I don't feel the need to hide now (and considering I've only lost thirtyish pounds, it's proof to me that I never needed to hide--I just needed to change my outlook).
Buy yourselves something pretty today, even if it's just a pair of hot red panties or a new pink tee. You deserve it. No matter what your current weight or size or shape, you deserve it.

I bought a really pretty bra yesterday for the first time in ages. I've always had a lot of cleavage so my functional bras looked decent even at my highest weight, but the lacy, satiny demi cup one I bought yesterday is pretty damn cute. I am VERY excited to buy more lingerie as I get smaller.

After New Years hubby and I went shopping to buy me a new leather jacket. I found a great clearance sale and had narrowed it down to 3. One of them was really fitted at the waist and is about mid hip length,so I look super tiny.I am really long waisted anyway,so the extra length was good. It's got both leather and lycra as the fabric and zippers on the sleeves, collar and a zip front. It was originally horribly expensive, and looks it. It has the "attitude" of a really classy motorcycle jacket.
I was a bit skeptical about if it was "me", but hubby convinced me I looked great in it.
OMG! I felt like wonder woman every time I wore it! I have never had any piece of clothing that made me feel so awesome, like I could conquer the world. Must be how Bat man feels when he puts on the cape! I can not begin to tell you how many times when I've been out wearing it, I got double takes from both men and women, and compliments on it from total strangers!
For the 1st time in my life I was sad to see Spring come because I had to pack away my jacket. Now I'll just count down to Fall. Lol!
Another thing. I would strongly encourage buying sexy undies to EVERYONE no matter your size! Get ride of every pair of granny panties. If you have a tight budget, just buy a couple items to get your brain around your sexy side.
What your mind thinks you become!
