When I was skinny (and I wasn't super lean anyway) I had the same problem sitting. My butt hurt and my spine seemed to stick out; so if the back of the chair where I was sitting was too hard, it would be painful.

Maybe gain a little bit of weight back? Just a little, healthy amount. Some of us have larger bones than others...

I agree with Imperialistic...I too love seeing my bones sticking out. I have big hip bones so even at my current weight they jut out.

It just takes a matter of getting use to your new body image. You won't always be grossed out when you touch your bones especially since you already think they look good in the mirror.

Happy and healthy that's all that matters.

My collarbones are humungus! My next bones stick out too. I think it looks sort of freakish.

BTW, the sore butt thing is something I haven't got used to yet. When sitting on the train, my butt gets really sore and I have to stand up for a minute or so.

I have always had bones "sticking out" and it has never bothered me. It's all I've ever known. So I imagine it really is something you get used to.

145 to 150 is the very least I'm willing to go also. I've been 130 at 5'7" and it was not healthy or attractive for *my* body at all. I also have a larger frame.
