Stretch Marks- Any suggestions
I've lost about 50 lbs. However, when I gained weight, I gained it ALL in my belly. Coupled with my very fair skin, I have lots and lots of stretch marks on my tummy.
What are some effective non-surgical treatments for this? I've had them for years, so I don't have much hope for them. But I want to give fixing them at least a little bit a try.

First of all, congrats on the weight loss!
I have done a lot of research and it seems there is not a magical cream. I do find keeping the area hydrated with lotion, Curel, and using a self tanner for fair people helps cammoflauge them. Many people make the mistake of thinking the medium/dark self tanner will make them darker but it just makes them orange. The formulation for fair is specifically formulated to make you look tan and might not be as dark but I will take that over Ompa Loompa anyday!
As for more involved solutions, I have read a lot about lazers zapping them away, but don't know how effectively...

Mine are very very deep, so I have a feeling unless I get a tummy tuck they are not going away. Can't be helped. Thanks for your advice

Mine are deep too and they run so high up, I don't think a tummy tuck would even get rid of them. The self tanner does help, now if only they made a magical "grow boobies" cream!

I had very large breasts before I lost weight, so I don't have to worry about the knockers. I'm 175ish at the moment and 36 DDD. I figure once I reach my goal weight I'll be a large C.

Lucky you, I gain it up top last and lose it up top first. Hey at least you have boobs to distract from the stretch marks!

I've been using a very gritty body scrub (3-5x week), shea butter and AHA lotion daily and I've been seeing really good results from this. I also drink a ridiculous amount of water and exercise a TON. The stretch marks on my breast are gone completely and the ones on my tummy sides and upper thighs are fadding pretty well. Now I'm just hoping that time will firm things up a bit.

I'm curious about the body scrub being used as well, I have stretch marks from when I gained weight and I'm looking for ways to reduce them as I lose.
I did buy bio oil, which is supposed to help fade stretch marks (it was so popular here I had to put my name in to get some at the store), but I did not use it regularly and now I don't know where my bottle is :/

Excellent weight loss girl, well done ! I have heard Bio-oil is excellent for stretch marks. I would also second the tan, I have stretch marks all over my belly, some from weight gain, and some from pregnancy, but the deep tan I acquired in Florida lessens thair appearance. It does not get rid of them, but makes my belly more appealing to me !! Well done

Sorry for not replying regarding what type of scrub and lotion!
I use the orgainic shea butter body scrub and butter by Tree Hut at Walmart. The Brazil Nut smells AMAZING! And I use the AHA body lotion at Rite Aide by C.Booth that is specifically for stretch marks and firming. Hope this helps!

I've had stretchmarks for 9 years and have yet to find a miracle cream. I got bio oil, but I haven't been consistent with it. I'd love to get rid of them, but at the same time they're my reminder of what I used to be like and a badge of honor for my hard work.
