Does anyone know if there is a website dedicated to people who have lost weight and desire meeting others who have that in common? Dating is frustrating in itself, much less having the anxiety of explaining your situation (ie - weight loss and skin issues)...
I would rather date someone who understands it and can appreciate the hard work I've done in the past couple years. I've been dating for 2 years now, & find it extremely difficult to find someone who can truly relate. Thanks!
I don't know if there's a dedicated site, but you can always word your profile in a way to attract the mate you want. It's how I met my husband.
About nine years ago, I placed an ad in my (then) local newspaper personals, which were also hooked to the newspaper's online dating site. In my ad and in my online profile I made my physical stats clear (I listed my height, weight, hair and eye color) and made it clear that I was dieting and interested in someone who shared or appreciated my goals and could appreciate me at any size.
