Default Crease hiding belly button - does it go away?

So, I have been overweight now for 8 years. What I hate most of all is my stomach fat. I can't even see my belly button!

The fat forms a crease across my belly button, and when I pull the fat away and try to flatten my stomach there is a crease that looks permanent! Like, it's darker than my skin color.

I am just wondering for people who got down to goal and could FINALLY SEE THEIR BELLYBUTTON (sigh), did that crease eventually fade?

thanks!

When I was thinner, down to 140 or so, it faded but didn't go away entirely. Had I of worked out more or done ab exercises when I got to that weight, it possibly could of though.

I hope we can get some more to weigh in on this at different weights, heights etc. because this is a pressing question for me as well!
