Saggy Boobs...
Hi Ladies!
As I was changing this afternoon to go for a walk in my local park, I noticed how much my boobs are sagging these days. I'm 35 and know that it's part of the getting older and losing weight thing. But they are looking so deflated. I know that I cannot fill in what I lost with wieght training, but do you think that I could possibily lift them a bit with weight training? Plastic surgery is unfortunately not a future possibility due to finances.
I'm single, what man would ever want me with saggy boobs? Maybe it's the PMDD talking, it's makes me so depressed!

I'm only 27 and after this weight loss I'm noticing it too.
My grandma swears by arm presses of different kinds... said it helped her when she was in her 30's.... but otherwise, not sure.

Wait awhile after you have finished losing weight before you start looking at your boobs in dismay!
I had the same problem when I first lost, but the skin tightened up after about 6 months and "the girls" looked a lot better. I think it takes time for your skin to lose it's "memory" and start shrinking down to fit the new you.
I know it may not happen that way for everyone, but that was my experience.

Maybe you could look into some skin firming lotions. I don't use any because I am hopeless at daily rituals so I can't tell you any recommendations, maybe someone else could?

My boobs looked so sad when I first lost weight, but I'll tell you that they sure looked a LOT better after a year or so. My tummy didn't become less saggy, my minor batwings didn't go away, but my chest was the one area that just got much better over time without any intervention (except wearing a bra, of course )

Give it time. Mine deflated mostly from the top as I lost weight, now they are becoming much firmer and less saggy. I am 45 so I really thought it wasn't possible at my age.

oh, I am liking the sound of the girls firming up, from others here. I am 23, and my boobs are saggy. I went from a good sized C to a very small B (I may wind up an A when I am done with losing weight) so mine look sad, and I am still so young. Here's to hoping they perk back up.

My thoughts are, if a man doesn't like you for you, boobs and all, kick him to the curb.
If someone is honestly going to judge you enough to keep you/dump you based on your boobs... that is one sad, sad little man.

Hi Jenn -- my long experience has been that men like boobs. Period. Big, small, pert, flat, saggy, perky. They like to get their hands etc. on them and the sagginess or lack thereof ceases to make any difference very quickly. Stand up straight and act proud and all things will come in the man department.

I think that as long as there is a chance that he will get to see and/or touch your naked boobs, he will approve of them. I'm very self-conscious of my saggy boobs but I've never had a complaint from a male regarding them!

I hope this make you all giggle a little. My boobs are looking really sad these days too after losing weight. I had to have a biopsy yesterday so afterwards they wrap you in a compression bandage. The nurse placed this big bundle of gauze over the small incision then wrapped me up. So I was pretty much flat on one side while the other side looked ok under my shirt. Last night when I took the bandage off, I had this permenent indention on the outside of one where all the gauze had been. I had to laugh. I'm hoping mine will improve over the next few months as others have reported.
I agree with the others, if a guy doesn't like you because of what your boobs or any body part looks like they aren't looking at you as a person and they should go to the curb.

I just noticed the same thing the other day...and it's actually really depressing! I know it sounds kind of vain, but I'm 23 and for as long as I can remember, I've had big boobs...and I liked them, it was the rest I wanted to change!
Honestly though? They probably look worse to you than they would to anyone else. That's what I tell myself because I know, especially in the middle of the weight loss process, how incredible critical I am of myself.
And I actually think guys kinda like those "flaws" that we women have and hate...they set us apart, make us unique and individual. Most guys don't care as much about your chest as they do a pretty smile or a sense of humor (it's true) as far as relationships are concerned.
I hope mine perk back up eventually too, though. It's definitely a bummer.

I've never been naturally blessed in the boobie department - I was a '32 Almost A' in high school. Gained up to a 34D at my highest point, lost down to a 32AAA by the time I got to maintenance weight. As I have discovered I'm vainer than I thought and as I got a bonus last year I bought myself implants this past January. Love them. They are widely spaced in the center like my natural breasts were so I'm working on chest exercises to firm up the muscles and try to hold them a little higher and closer together, but still love them even widely spaced.

Perfect! I think there is one old saying that men say..."more than a mouthful is enough"
Hang in there! Cathy
