My inclination is to believe very strongly in the "editing" portions of the program. When they show the girls rolling their eyes, they are cut-away shots, they aren't panning from something happening and then you see the eye-roll at the same time. She could have rolled her eyes at one of her own teammates and they cut it in to make it look like it was for the blue team. I've caught a few out-of-sequence-edits this season so I wouldn't put it past them.
As far as keeping the b*tchy red team girls together - that's all part of reality TV. They'd never break that up. They have so little drama this season that they have to create it by hyping up the little things. If I was as hyped up on adrenaline as Pam was when she made the "bloody stump" comment, I probably would have said something just as silly. Look at how much she busted her a$$ for her team, especially on that escalator... and Ken can't sit down a bunch of times? He looked like he gave up when he was only "pretty tired" instead of "totally unable to move". The fact that the red team finished without him for no reason even though they knew they'd lost, gave me more respect for them.
As for smirks at people's weight loss - I've seen quite a few coming from the blue team when the red team weighs in. And I've seen the blue team praying that the red team doesn't lose much weight, so it's all fair in a competition like this. Both sides want to win.
Buuuuut all that aside, I get what people are saying. Last season I was on the edge of my seat. This season I don't really care who wins. And I still don't like Kim even after she cried to get her team to like her. I want Jillian back.
