I swear, I must be the only person who gets UNMOTIVATED by the Biggest Loser.
I've been losing, according to FitDay, an average of 1.92 pounds weight loss over the past 4 months. Which is great! My goal averaged 1.5 pounds over the course of a year, so I have room to slow down.
But then I see the weigh-ins, and someone who weighs about as much as me starting will lose like 22 pounds in a 10-day stretch. And I can't help thinking that, gosh, that's almost 3
months for me to lose that much weight!
So, it gets a little discouraging. I eat an average of 1600 calories a day, and do about 30 minutes of exercise in an average day, which is about all I'm willing to commit to. I bet that they exercise 2 hours a day and more intensely, and probably cut calories down to 1200 or 1400. Still. I usually am thrilled about the speed of my weight loss, even if after 40 pounds I still can't see it, but after the Biggest Loser I always feel a little discouraged.
