Nahhh....the guy was such a prima donna that the only way she was gonna get him to buckle down and work was to handcuff him to the treadmill. Wonder if his cousins will do that over the ensuing months? Heh heh!

That could be possible ... Did you see the preview of next week's episode? The Italian guy fell WAY off, at least by the snippet of video I saw.
I was checking out the local news here in San Diego this morning on www.nbcsandiego.com ~~ I noticed that there was a Biggest Loser audition at the Dave and Busters ~~ the headline read:
THE BIGGEST LOSER TRY-OUTS CANCELED BECAUSE OF HEAVY TURN-OUT
Thought that was kind of funny...the "heavy" part.
It seems to have had too many people show up for the amount of security.

LOL - that would be a headline to send in to Jay Leno for when he does his crazy headlines segment!! He'd Love it: Turnout for Biggest Loser tryouts too Heavy!!!
Amused....just goes to show how prevalent obesity is in this country. I'm really not a fan of reality shows, but if they start showing more versions of Biggest Loser, I could get into it. Did ya'll catch the latest commerical from Applebees? They now have 10 WeightWatchers Meals on their menus now....if more and more restaurants started doing this, eating out wouldn't be such a chore! LOL
Just watched the first half tonight. I really wish they would show the whole thang in one night though. :P One thing that I was curious about is the 50's Diner Family....they deep fry everything, and I was wondering if this would perhaps motivate them to change their 50's restaurant into a healthier restaurant with lean turkey instead of ground beef...the usual stuff. It would be interesting to see how much more their business improved if they did that. Same deal with the Italian family.
That thought ran through my mind as well. Unfortunately, studies show that restaurants that offer greasy, fat-laden, sugary comfort foods do much better business than those that offer mostly healthy alternatives. It's sad but true. People don't want to give up the bad food! (I'm guilty of it too!) It's too bad because there are certainly times when I wish there was a restaurant I could go to and not ruin any eating plan I'm on.

I love the WW menu at Applebee's- especially now that they can make some of them into a Core dinner too. Thank you Applebee's!!
