Default absentminded and dizzy between meals

I have a question for you guys. Do you become tired and unable to think properly and function well before meals or when meals are delayed ? I happen to be daydreaming, tired, absentminded and dizzy like every 3 or 4 hours and I need to eat in order to rearrange that. Is it normal ? Does it does that ? I know few people who are like me but they are hypoglycemic persons. Does that mean I'M hypoglycemic ?

I don't know if it's "normal," but I'm the exact same way. What works for me is to just eat protein (and carbs, too, usually) every 3 to 4 hours. Kind of a pain in the ***, but what are you going to do?

I get weak, lazy, tired and shaky if I don't eat every 3-4 hours... It is a PITA but it is better for you to eat several smaller meals throughout the day anyways... Somedays, I have to eat closer to every 2-3 hours this usually depends on how much I've worked out the day before....

Oh, to answer your question about hypoglycemia, maybe. I've always suspected I have it and my mom and HER mom suspect THEY have it as well. The only real test for it is to sit in a doctor's office and get a blood test once an hour for 5 hours, though, so I just do what makes me feel okay.
