Hi Momma......I don't think you change your calories until you start losing some weight to re-calculate all your formula's. What she does say, is to take your weekly total and divide it up for each day, and to make sure that you vary the amounts eaten per day. (some high days, some lower days). Does that make more sense now?

Thanks for the replies. I have access to a gym, but can't get there because of my hectic school schedule. So I have weights, a cross trainer in my home and just bought a stability ball today to replace a bench (for dumbell flys, etc). I know from past experience at the gym that 12 lbs was my limit as far as free weights! So I will try to use my 5 lbs weights until I can get more.

Momma, I suggest re-reading the whole nutrition section. The formulas are a lot of math. There's your BMR and then your AMR and your exercise calories. So, yes, it changes at least 3 days out of the week. It may take some time, but it's well worth re-reading. Just my two cents.

Thanks a lot, I did not even know that she had a book until today. I just ordered it. Can't wait to get it. I like her a lot. Will be watching the show tonight. She is a great inspiration.
