Yup!

If they lost 10 pounds every week, they'd be droppin' like flies!

Yes it was a good show last night. I felt soo bad for Suzy and was glad she
still loss wgt. I hope the girls will be better team-mates to each other.
I'm glad that Nick is gone. He's just was nothing but trouble.
But sad that he looked like he gain everything back and then some.
I believe that is the first time that has happened on the biggest loser.
Don't recall anyone on the first season gaining back the pounds before the show ended.

Didn't Suzy lose the MOST weight of all the women? I was glad for her. It was smart for her to drink those shakes because she had the benefit of a cook teaching her how to cook healthy all week instead of eat out. I'm with her when she said/couldn't understand why NO one tried to win that challenge. The key to successful weight loss is knowing how to cook healthy dishes yourself--not ordering the right things when you go out to eat. That's only a small part of it.

Loved the episode last night.....BTW, we have picture-picture on our tv, but wasn't paying any attention to the little box where dh had on something else....
Ditto - Gald Nick is history and he looked heavier to me....(we can't all be wrong)
Jen - She did have a bad week, but like someone said, I think her time is short.
About the eating out - I'd love that lesson, a whole week of eating take out and resturant going and still lose weight - NOW that's something!
Good show!
Then we watched "Dog the BOunty Hunter" and Beth called a bad girl a FAT-B_tch on national tv....gotta love that show.

I went to the PC to post about the show right after, but Jim watched "My Name Is Earl" which premiered last week... had him cracking up big-time!

Suzy lost 4 lbs. and Ryan lost 5 lbs. making her the biggest loser.... I read the website.

I'm soooobummed! I FORGOT TO WATCH!!! I worked late, then did my farmer-brown routine in feeding the pets, walking the dog and started laundry, I looked at the clock and it was 9:15PM.....I hope they do a rerun at some point, I hate to keep missing!

Mrs. JIM - We have picture-picture so we watched "My Name is Earl" too, that is a funny show. But Dog was a whole new episode and he does wear that 'sexy' feather string thing in his mullet now.....
Then it was 'Nip Tuck" that is a very different show...

I think it was Suzanne who said after the challenge that because of what they had been through already it was almost impossible for her to drink the shakes. They had a similar challenge last year - the person who ate a dessert got a phone call or something (will have to check). If memory serves, it was Dave who succumed last season and ate a couple bites of dessert - but the wrinkle this year was that none of the contestants could see what the others were doing. I think Suzy just panicked when she heard the glasses clinking and decided to down as many as she could, KWIM?

Anyway...what I was going to say is that while knowing how to cook healthy is essential, many people today really don't have the time or perhaps the inclination to grocery shop, prepare and cook, so eating out becomes a LOT more than just a small part of healthy eating. (I'm one of those people who don't have the time to cook most days - I suppose if I cut my gym/workout and horse time I WOULD have ample time to cook, but I'd rather not - being able to order takeout wisely, for me, was an absolute MUST.)

On the NBC site both Bob and Jillian had some useful restaurant tips - worth a look!

(I see Bob has included one of my taqueria dining 'secrets' - I like to order a pollo asada tostada (minus the tortilla) consisting of grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, whole pinto beans and load it up with lots of yummy salsa from the salsa bar - our favorite taqueria has the guac and sour cream on the side in cups - so I can either just use a dab or pass it up altogether. )

I've heard of Nip/Tuck but that's on way too late for me!

I think I heard somewhere that Bravo is showing reruns - but couldn't bring up the schedule on their website, darn it.

Thanks for the info....I'll check it out and see if I can find out anything.

You can catch re-runs of Nip/Tuck every Saturday night......it is getting a little ridicules (desperate) with all the sudden trans-gender of the LIFE COACH who was sleeping with her son last season....and now the other doc's son is questioning HIS sexuality?

But I love Julia and the anesthesiologist...and enjoyed the scenes with "Mamma" who died while they tried to ungraft her skin from the couch last week....

And the scenes with the police profiler and Kimber are something you can see on Seximax/Cenimax any weekend night......(no I don't prefer soft-porn, but I have chronic insomnia...unfortunately I can recite the scripts verbatum from most infomercials too)

sometimes FOX will re-run the previous 2-3 episodes too over the weekend. My favs. are Rescue Me; Jesus asking for a ham sandwich while he drinks scotch in the kitchen and constant visits from his colleague who died on 9/11 as he is banging his wife (oops)--I'd give up sobriety and AA in a heartbeat. and I got hooked on Dead or Alive too.
