Just curious, as I get it on tv here in Canada and wondered if anyone else was watching it? Maybe I am on a repeat season I don't know, but Jillian and Bob are the trainers.

I'm watching, I love it! I don't understand though, when do people get voted off? I watched the whole thing last night, and there wasn't an elimination. The other times I've watched, same thing, only I had missed a part, so I just assumed that it was done while I wasn't watching. Is there a separate elimination show?

Oh yikes. It is Season 1 of TBL Australia that is airing in Canada now...and don't go searching for info online if you don't want to know what will happen. I just saw the final 4 by accident. Shoot!

Michigan here and I watched it on the BBC channel I think, Also watched some of the UK I believe it was ? Don't remember the channel that was on thou.
It would be awsome just to have a biggest loser channel so you could watch them from everywhere that they have them !!

I'm in Canada too, and watched an episode on Slice last night, and was amazed at how different it was from American BL. The contestants were more harsh with each other (that whole spat between Wal and that other guy on the couches? yikes!), for one thing.
I really liked how Bob and Jillian were portrayed - it seemed a lot more "real" than their portrayal on BL in the US.

I watched the whole 3 day marathon on the fox reality show over the new year. It was good, but yes...sooooo long between weigh ins and kick offs, and they'd end an episode in the middle of weigh ins or not show who was voted off. A really long season, they must have shown the show every night to have that many episodes. Lots of twists and turns and alot of it I wish they'd do on the American version but I wont get into it so it doesnt spoil it for ya!

I am from Australia and I think you are talking about the first season - that was a nightly series - in fact the next 2 seasons were also nightly. Daily episodes Mon- Fri, Elimination night Sunday! Season Four will kick off soon!

From memory I think Bob'd dad passed away mid of the series and he had to fly back to the States... if not it was season 2.

That was season 1, when Bob had to fly back. I liked season 2 a lot, mainly because of Damien...he was such a big inspiration, seeing that 400+ pound guy do the things he did. Powering up the hill and up those stairs was just amazing to watch. Although the whole training situation was weird in Season 2
One thing I like about the Aussie version is you see the trainers a whole lot more, and see them training a lot more. That's really why I watch the show, I don't like the drama that much, though sometimes I get into it and start liking/hating some contestants, usually I just wade through all that to get to the workouts.

yeah, in Season 1 bobs mom died of a massive heart attack, and jillian took over both teams for a short term. It was extremely emotional! I'd love to see more seasons but it takes so long to watch!
You are right Antares you definetly see alot more of the trainers in the Aussie version, but I thought it was way more drama filled, maybe because you see so much of everyone since there are so many episodes you get even more attatched or dislike someone even more. I thought it was really emotional. Also, anytime anyone ever had immunity they were water loading you could count on it. I liked the rule they finally made that if you gained you were automatically up for elimination even if you had immunity.
The other thing I really like was how they determined who would be in the final 3.
