How to turn off signatures, avatars, etc.

Hi.

I was poking around in my personal settings, and found under "Edit Options" a section down near the bottom "Visible Thread Options" where you can turn the extras off. TeriL, maybe that will help the threads load quicker? I have trouble sometimes, too, with that.
