Red Team 2012 Resolution Revolution CHAT Thread Week 8 (02/19-02/26)
Hi Red Team-
Another solid week, keep up the good work team
We lost 10.5 lbs or 0.34 % as a team.
We lost 1 team member this week, so now we are at 17!
C'mon ladies!! We can do this!!
Way to Go!!!
Red Team Biggest Loser:
omgzitsmiranda(-5.5 lbs, 2.27%)
Honourable Mentions:
lukesmom (-2.6 lbs, 1.56%)
zogo (-1.6 lbs, 0.92%)
maryshady (-1.2 lbs, 0.73%)
Some ladies have recommended keeping track of our collective track miles, or kilometers eh, on a virtual map, to see how far we could get before this challenge is over. Yes, no? If so- any recommendations where to do this?
On to week 8.

LOL, my virtual map would lead nowhere since I seem to be glued to my treadmill.
Especially now that Scrubs is on Netflix streaming ...

I wear my pedometer daily, but I don't think the mileage reading is that accurate. I also don'talwys ake my phone when I'm out walking so I don't live track my walks, but I do on occasion use map my run or run keeper to figure out a distance run etc-when I ran/run on a regular basis, which hasn't been that often recently-boo.
We got a little snow overnight, so taking the kids out sledding while the sun is out.

Congratulations omgzitsmiranda for being our BL this week.
WTG Lukesmom, zogo, and MaryShady!
Not much is new here, I'm just trying to stay focussed and committed as I have not been very consistent during this challenge. I am determined to finish it though, and hopefully with a good loss.
Have a great day everyone!
CanadaMel - Sounds like a cool idea, but I have no idea where it can be done.

I am sorry that I missed the weigh-in time for this week. I was painting until 7:00 EST. I realized that I hadn't entered my weight and went to the nearest Starbucks for the wi-fi (don't have Internet at home yet) and forgot that it had to be in by 6:00 CST. I will be sure to enter the weight much earlier in the day.
Congrats to all those who made the weigh-in and to the Red Team's biggest loser for the week

Congrats to the red team!!!! Great job girls! Especially to omgzitsmiranda
Seem to be getting back into the swing of it again.
Wish I could work out but having problems with my knee. Dr thought it was a ligament tear but went for an MRI but it didn't show a tear so dr gave me a cortisone shot on Friday. Guess I have to wait and see what happens.
Have a great week

Oh goody.
I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. My body's like in active rebellion against me.
I'm not actually going to quit WW or throw in the towel, but I sort of just want to give up -- between my elbow and my heel, the entire left side of my body is just fail.

Hump day! Wait, it is isn't it? lol
Staying OP and am also on week 4 of a C25K program with half the workout now running. Hoping that will nudge the scale. Oh and I bought Supreme 90 Day (which is an Insanity or P90X like workout). $10 for a 10 workout disc set . . how can I go wrong? Did w/out 1 today, chest and back. I'll probably be sore tomorrow. Will likely just use the workouts intermixed with other workouts . . the more muscle confusion the better.
Some days I can stay OP foodwise like nobodies business and other days . . . gaaaa, I could just hoover the entire kitchen.

Congratulations to omgitsmiranda! and all the other biggest WINNERS!!!
I wear my pedometer too but it never measures the same distance as my treadmill or the odometer on the car.
I am making the 10k a day mark and I am hoping that will get me over or under this hump!

Resurfacing from MIA land. Survived the soccer torunament this past weekend, had a sick kid with me at work yesterday and now it's wed(nearly Thursday) whoa!
Sounds like people are moving their bodies come h@ll or high water- which is great!
The 52 small changes focus ths week us eat your veggies. 4-6 servings per day! Do you get that much? I'm usually a solid 3-4 as I have a salad or lunch mon-fri and 1-2 servings with dinner.
What's your favorite veggie? Mine is a tie between broccoli & carrots.
DH is out of town thurs & friday so I may be scarce. (surprise, surprise)
Let's finish strong this week!

Good idea on the veggies. My favorite is asparagus. I also made a yummy spinach salad with hot bacon dressing this week. I have yet to try kale, but I heard how absolutely fabulous it is for you. I guess it is one of the best vegetables you can eat! Actually, it was from a TED tv presentation by a doctor that reversed her M.S. I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link, but it is fascinating. http://tedxtalks.ted.com/video/TEDxI...erry-Wahls-Min

Kale: I eat it like popcorn. Straight out of the bag and raw.
I'm weird.
