Congrats to all the losers!!!

I made it down 1.6 this week, to my unending surprise. It was an awful, off-plan week. So I have to get it together to not show a gain next week.

Since it's been so cold, I've been trying to use my crockpot more. I made this applesauce chicken recipe from the Crockpot365 blog yesterday. I would add more seasoning to the sauce ... but it was delicious and took less than 5 minutes to put together. 7 WW Points Plus for 1/4 of the recipe.

From http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008...en-recipe.html

--4 frozen chicken breast halves or thighs (I used 2 of each)
--1 1/2 cups of applesauce
--1 T dried onion flakes, or 1 yellow onion, chopped finely
--1 T apple cider vinegar
--1/4 tsp cinnamon
--1/2 tsp black pepper
--2 cloves garlic, minced
--1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, I used them, and added more to the adult servings)

The Directions.

If your pot cooks fast, err on the lower end of cooking time. (Shanhat note: Mine cooks slow.)

Put the frozen chicken pieces into your crockpot. Add the onion (if you are using the dried onion, wait and add it to the applesauce). In a bowl, mix the applesauce, vinegar, garlic, and spices together. Pour on top of the chicken.

Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours, or on high for 3-4. (Shanhat note: Low is way better than high b/c then the chicken gets nice and shreddy)

Serve with rice or quinoa. (Shanhat note: I used brown rice and shredded the chicken and mixed it all together)

Sorry for all the cold weather reports...here in cloudy Houston, it is 72º. I have no excuses for not being outside...

Just checking in to make sure I had posted my weight on Wednesday after WI...

Good luck on all the weigh in's this morning. It's about 5F outside and I have to head to the grocery store for the weeks food. Time to start planning out our meals

Hello Ladies-
Week 3 is nearly in the books.
TOM is kicking my butt these past few days, so I'm posting a small gain.

Survived 4 10yr old boys as my son had a sleep over last night. Lots of xbox & movies.

Now I'm hunkering down & watching football. I'll be back later tonight.

I have been watching football all day!!!! I went "hot spinning" to justify it. But you deserve a day off way more for fielding a sleepover.

GO GIANTS!!!
