I'm still here!
Still working out with weights, weight still bouncing up and down, but I refuse to quit. People on the weightlifting website say that the 7th or 8th week is when things really start to show . . . so . . . I'm perservering.
In watching what I'm eating by putting it all on a calorie count website, I'm seeing that there is still too much sodium in my diet. I just bought some pink Himalayan salt which has all 84 minerals that comprise our bodies and have sworn off any other kind of salt. This might be part of my holding onto my weight. The other part is likely the fact that my thyroid dose had to be raised recently, but I don't have the pills yet because I get my prescriptions through Meds by Mail, so . . . maybe when I get my thyroid regulated, I'll see some results.
It's so hard to keep going when there's so little to show for it, but I've been faithful, eating less, drinking more water, exercising almost everyday. I won't be quitting though, and I'll be here for the next challenge because you all help by telling your ups and downs too.
