I see this thread has slowed down, but I need some motivation so thought I'd post and see if we could wake it up!

With my new job starting last week, I lost my daytime walking schedule (and can't take two 20 minute breaks during the day the way I did at my previous job). I only walked twice in the evenings with DH--and that's not enough.

So, as part of my recommit (I posted about it in the main Beck thread), I set my alarm for 6:00 am this morning and went for a walk. (Hit the snooze alarm once, which I intended but then got up!) Credit for practicing my resistance muscle and skipping out on my planned walk. It took me 23 minutes to walk a route that I first walked in 27 minutes, so credit for walking faster--it's better exercise.

I'm cooling off a bit and will go take my shower and start my day--and start already having exercised my resistance muscle! Oh--and credit for cooling down by posting instead of cooling down by lying down again!
Goal: Back to where I was!

Arrow Guess the thread will go to the Fall!

Just realized the thread was titled August exercise thread. It's Sept now so we may as well keep it open until the autumnal equinox.

I've been giving it a lot of thought and I am going to commit to a month of exercise classes somewhere. I need to figure out what will fit my schedule best and then I will commit. I'm going to begin this after my sister leaves and we've moved my mom--so I have a week to make my choice.

So, hello to anyone who's checking in and look for a new seasonal thread to start in a few days...
