I did post on another thread on 3FC but since I'm using Beck's book, thought this is where I'd like to connect.
I have not had weight problems (other than being always on a diet as a teen), but last winter I gained 12 pounds in 6 weeks (per my medical records), and then continued to gain another 5 over a few months. I do think something went awry with my thyroid, but as I am very sensitive to medications, I have not chosen to go that route.
Anway, I have read a fair amount of the Beck diet book (green, not pink) and I just got a copy of the pink journal. So I'm really just starting out.
Just reading some of the book and making an effort to sit down while eating, I have 2 pounds in this past week.
I'm a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids.
I would also like to use this site for my Diet Buddy, although I plan to ask a friend to help me with accountability too.
