Well, I just finished up my results for the first 14 days of induction. I was quite pleased with the results. Because I'm doing so well I'm going to stick with induction for another 2 weeks. 20-25 net carbs works well for me, and I don't feel deprived yet.
Woot Woot!! NICE job!! I've fallen off the wagon. Again. I climb back on tomorrow. I'd love to keep hanging you with you Monte, you skinny little thang!!
Thanks! It seems easy so far, except that I have to cook a lot more. I like cooking once I actually get started, but I'm sort of lazy when I get home from work. I always used to keep frozen pizzas around for emergency lunches, but now that option is out the window.
I've officially been on induction for 2 weeks as of today and my numbers aren't nearly that amazing! Good job
I think I must have been cutting corners without realizing it so I'm going to do the 'real deal' induction without diet sodas or Atkins bars, maybe count calories, and definitely exercise more.
I will post my results here in 2 weeks...hopefully they'll be good!

You don't have near as far to go as I do, so that probably plays in. But cutting out the sodas and Atkins bars is always a good idea.
Yes I count calories. Try to keep below 1500 though I don't mind if I go over every once in a while. Calories in versus calories out is obviously the key to weight loss, I just find that if I eat low carb I'm able to restrict my calories without any trouble. Plus it tastes good!
I know I said that I would post my results after 2 weeks, but I'm already seeing some great results after 1 week! I think cutting out both the aspartame sodas and Atkins bars is really doing the trick. I'm down 4 pounds and 2 inches around my gut woot woot!
Also, I haven't explicitly been counting calories but the app I use counts calories in addition to carbs...usually I stay in between 1000 and 1500, but sometimes I go as high as 2200 on exercise days.
Alright! Finished that second 2 weeks! down an extra 2.5 pounds for a total of 9 pounds this month. Considering that I haven't been exercising, I think that's pretty good!
