Tripswitch, I set my macros on MFP also to 5%carbs/30%protein/65%fat and it seems to be working for me, thank you for sharing. I'm excited to finally see some movement in the scale and in my clothes. I'm not craving carbs either as much. One day at a time is how I'm going forward.

Hope everyone has a good easter. I'm planning on staying true to atkins.

HAPPY EASTER!
Congrats! That's awesome! And the not craving carbs as much is great too... I know for me that has been the answer to my prayers... I was actually out with some friends this morning having coffee and one was having donuts (yes that's right she had TWO donuts with her coffee and of course she is rail thin... lol...) and my other friends were having big bright yellow frosted cookies... I guess yellow for Easter...lol... AND I had absolutely NO cravings for that stuff... talk about a MIRACLE! I just enjoyed my coffee with cream and was completely happy... and now my cloths fitting better these last few weeks, well that's just a very nice bonus as far as I'm concerned right now...

And yes... that's what I'm going to do too... just take it one day at time...

Happy Easter as well!

UPDATES ...

Unfortunately the side effects from this WOE for me which included a worsening blood lipids profile and chronic constipation requiring the use of laxatives was something I just wasn't willing to continue to tolerate just to reach my goal weight...

For me a high fat diet raises my LDL to unacceptable levels...

SO A WORD OF CAUTION.... Make sure you have blood work before starting this diet and have it checked at regular intervals to make sure this WOE isn't causing any issues...
