Not sure what I am doing this week but it isn't Atkins....that being said....starting over again today....thank goodness we get a new start at every meal....as Taylor Swift sings...i get to "begin again!!"

Baby girl starts school today - she's a junior in high school this year and my son starts college again soon with move in over Labor Day weekend!! Concert tonight - going with the kids to Goo Goo Dolls!!

Planning bacon/eggs, chicken and salad and probably more salad for my meals today. Best wishes for an on-plan day!!

Antonia.. I know what you mean.. Those Carbs do something to our brains I SWEAR!

LULU.. Have a great time at the concert! and School starting and your son leaving (this weekend?? or next week?) Just think of all the life they are living and the stories you get to hear and the pride you will have in your kids in their choices!

Me I START my new job MONDAY! Hooray!... soooooooooo will have alot of nervous weight next week and EVERYONE eats lunch together.. but the boss and another employee are starting diets.. so I should not feel too outta it and I think (after 19 months) that I won't be tempted by the Mikky D's, Jimmy Johns, Pizza, Chinese, etc that is brought in.. as I KNOW what I need to do and I am NEVER going back to what I used to eat (every day! yikes.. NEVER!!)

Personally, I like the longer ones...If we do Halloween (9 weeks), then it works out pretty evenly if the next one is New Years (again, 9 weeks). Plus, if we have a challenge that runs through THanksgiving, rather than stopping right before, it might help us stay more on plan.

But I will happily participate in any challenge we have!

I love the idea of 9 weeks... its just long enough and still short enough to see the end...

Happy Friday!! Reporting 170 this morning...24 hours past my injection and not feeling under the weather like last time...so that is a great success!! Concert was great but now he oil light is on in my car...ugh!!! Yogurt this morning and salad for lunch not sure about dinner yet!! Love the idea of Halloween and Thanksgiving..I like when we stick in all the holidays!! Best wishes for an on-plan day!!

I don't deserve this after eating like a pig for a week, but I am so relieved that I dropped back down so quickly. It might have really discouraged me if it took a month to come back down, and who knows if I would have stuck to it. But now I'm basically back where I was, and only in 5 days too, so I can move forward with confidence! And maybe, just maybe, I'll make by 225 goal for this challenge!!

Happy Sunday!! Nephew's wedding yesterday...no carbs or calories in wedding cake right? Back on track today...lots of walking and weeding planned!!

Car has been a nightmare...thought it was fixed on Friday but we got stuck on our way home from the wedding...exactly what I was trying to avoid...car back at dealership...not sure when we will get it back..oh well!!

Best wishes for an on-plan day!!

Oh LULU.. I am so sorry about your car. I hope that the Dealership can figure it out and that its under warranty! I bet the wedding was fun and dance the night away.. that will take care of the Wedding Cake NON Carbs!
