Hi Guys,
I've been MIA the last 10 days. Been dealing with some issues from my Gerd. Had to go to the ENT yesterday and had an Endoscopy this morning. Been trying to stay on track, but honestly, I have been making poor choices some days, resulting in a 2 pound gain (from my low). Not horrid, I'm not quitting. Just took a little break I guess.

The test came out pretty good. I just need to take prilosec (sp?) daily to keep the stomach acid controlled.

So, my stats are as follows:

Watched a Youtube video to motivate my last night. It's a documentary on some people on an island in Alaska who changed their way of eating to HFLC and their results. It was pretty good. Search "My Big Fat Diet".

Also, talked to a lady this week about protein drinks. She says she gets these ones from Costco called "Premium Protein" that are really great. 3 net carbs, 160 calories, 34 grams protein. I found them and bought a case of vanilla to try. Funny thing is of all the protein drinks there, this one was nearly half sold - tells me it's popular and really good. I like these for breakfast when I'm in a hurry.

Here's to the weekend - gonna plan some meals and get back on track!!

Pam... I was wondering where you were... I am so sorry about all the Stomach acid... I hope that you also figure out what foods are doing that to you too.... BUT that you feel better ASAP!

I had a sicky/icky day yesterday and it shows with a 2 lb gain (Had a bowl of popcorn snoozing on the couch watching Sharknado 2 and the next movie... Feel better today as the ickyness is GONE so back on track!

Hey all, I know I have been gone, My diet has been on and off while I have been away. My grandmother passed away so I was out of town and eating out every meal for 5 days, then I came down with a head cold and have felt like crap in general since I have been back. As such I have been lax in eating. Except for some pancakes friday night I have eaten ok-ish, just not as strict as I need to be. Hopefully this headcold goes away and I can get back to working out and will have the energy to care about being on point with food.
