Ok so I think the fat thing has something to do with it - yesterday I was 5% carbs, 57% fat, 39% protien - had a day planned where it would have been perfect, but forgot my daughter had a band concert so dinner had to be changed.

But much better than that high 60's that was going on and the scale reflected it.

Carol - drinking lots of water and activity and all that --- the only thing I could find as an issue was the fat content being higher than recommended - i'll keep at it a few days and see if this keeps up.

I cheated and just edited my post with today's weight lol. I'm mobile today and it refuses to copy paste ha!

I think I figured out the problem for sure was the fat %. Yesterday I had exactly 50% fat, 18 carbs and 12 of them from veggies with 1100 calories.

Interesting that my weight is back to the same point as when this challenge started.

This challenge's goal number is now my BIG PERSONAL goal number too - I need to show myself that I CAN get back on track after a few days of off-plan eating, and get the scale moving downward in a significant way.

I am scared to even look at the scale... I have NO MORE reasons to not eat right.. NO MORE!.. Back on track today and -------- doing it! Weigh in tomorrow with accountability (scared today!)

Sarah you can do it!! Mine is above the starting number and I didn't have an off plan weekend or day just 2 (small) bites of doughnut!

Newme you can get back track. I know you can push through the cheats and kick some scale bootie.

Sarah you will get there I know. I bet it is mostly water weight.

Ali and Smith all I can say is WOW!

Sue I would not have been able to resist the Disney food either. Just thinking about is making me drool a little. But you will get that scale back down in no time!

I indulged at the company picnic this weekend. THere might have been a beer or two involved. LOL Just not done the Ian way. I will give it a day or two before weighing.

Mara sounded like you had fun this weekend though! Can't put life aside

Carol I'd be all over that funnel cake too!! Is journaling hard? I never did it just mentally kept a note buy my friend thinks my brain lies to me.

Sue...are you so awesome! I can't believe almost 100 pounds gone!!! That is amazing and you should be so very proud

I had a very good day yesterday, managed to keep calories lower than I have in several weeks, and all the food just kind of slid into place. I almost wrote "effortlessly" but it's not effortlessly, not by a long shot. I spent hours this weekend making soup, salad, veggie sides, meat etc so that I could be ready to just pull out what I needed, eat, and get out of the kitchen. The actual eating yesterday was pretty easy, but the organization and prep needed to get there are significant.

A few times I wanted to eat more out of habit than out of hunger. Managed to stop myself each time, which is also good progress.

Ok... day 2 of the commitment! GOT ALOT of water to lose! and maybe some short term weight too GGRRRRRR Disney food was awesome Mara.. It was hard to walk away from.... I need to learn to be stronger... especially as a Disney Annual Pass is my treat when I get to Onderland! (I decided that JUST NOW!) makes me smile to think of it!
