Default Lose 5 lbs Challenge NEWME (Carol) won last one! :)

to Newme! for winning the last challenge (actually days ago lol) Lets see who can win this one!

This is a challenge for anyone! Anyone and everyone is welcome! You do not need to follow this plan. You can start anytime and weigh in as often as you want.

The challenge is to see who can lose 5 lbs the fastest! If you do...then YOU WIN! (in more ways than one!)*

So it will be clear when YOU are the winner please list today's start weight, your current weight, and your goal weight for this challenge each time you log in your weight. (See mine as an example)*

Good Luck Everyone!

Happy to be starting a new challenge today, as the scale moved up a bit today and I was not happy about it. As soon as I see that I'm always thinking "well, maybe someone will have won the challenge and at least I can use this as my starting weight" - and lo and behold, today that worked!

I am trying reintroducing egg yolk - first serving was Thurs night, and again Friday night. And I'm wondering if I'm having some reactions - some skin stuff, blemishes and itchiness. I never in a million years thought I had a problem with eggs, but my skin has been great for 2 months (egg free) and now suddenly that, plus a blip up of weight which could be an inflammatory response showing on the scale... Anyway will keep an eye on things for the next few days but probably won't add egg yolk back into my diet for now, and maybe I'll re-test in a month or so. Super annoying, eggs are easy, tasty, handy and cheap! I've missed them...

Sarah, I am blood tested as sensitive to eggs. When I did my W75 I never ate an egg. When I reintroduced I just used the yolks. Eventually I added whites. I probably should stay off them. Maybe they cause me to retain and have inflammation? Perhaps I should go easy on them. They are just so easy with
low carb.

Looking great Sue. 222 by Monday definitely if you stay on plan!
Hopefully the egg thing is a fluke Sarah. But they are a frequent allergen for many people!
I am TOMing it with you Mara

Thanks for the encouragement - I was just really surprised about the egg yolk thing, I've never had any inkling that I had a problem with eggs, so it was a big surprise. Still not willing to accept it as problematic, but I'll back off for a month and try again in the future. I've gone 2 months without eggs, I can go another one... They are handy on low carb though, for sure...
