Welcome Quilter and congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy and shed pounds.

Nag aim, your numbers are so impressive. I'm glad you're joining us.

I had a tough time with sodium and 2 cookies at the conference the last two days and my weight is higher than its been in several years. I woke up scared. Today is strict Atkins 72 for me. I'm done messing around which I've done for the last month. I injured my ankle during Pilates Reformer last Friday and have barely walked a step. This morning I will walk the 3/4 mile to work and then home tonight.

SW: 152
CW: 153.6
GW: 144.

4/21 - 250.6
4/22 - 247.1
4/23 - 243.5
4/24 - 236.7

I am not sure where this came from... got on the scale 3 times because I didn't believe it. I'll take it, but I wonder if it is so low because I might be dehydrated. I drank alot of water yesterday but I also was dripping sweat after my session with the trainer so idk if it balanced out. I will just wait and see what happens.

Sue - I've noticed my gains from eating carbs flush off super fast once I buckle back down and don't let any little cheats in. I aim for 5% of my intake to be from the net carbs. Myfitnesspal has a code you can use so itll add net carbs as an option and show you what percentage you are getting from where. instructions can be found here: http://cavemanketo.com/configuring-mfp/

Quilter! Nagazim! so good to see you both! Good luck

Haha OK Lizzy we will keep your secret! Good luck with the excercising!
Welcome Nagazim, QuilterinVA and BrendaM. Glad to have you all join us! Congrats on the baby Nagazim. Quilter your weight loss is amazing!!
Pixie those extra lbs are really coming off!
Sorry about your ankle Calee. Hope it is better!
Sue I think you will make that May 5th goal!!

My scales were being really stupid today and weighing all over the place. I saw weights from 213.8 (which I didn't believe so I wayed a "100" more times) to 215.2 (only once) so finally just went with 214.4 which showed up several times. So aggravating!

SW: 216.8
CW: 214.4

Sue - I need your steps lol! I seriously barely hit 5k right now.

Calee- good luck with the ankle healing.

Pixikat- holy weight loss, Batman! Those lbs are melting off! Way to go!

newme- I usually weigh 100 times just to make sure I get the same number every time. You never know, I could weigh less the next time lol!

free1 - welcome aboard! Good luck with your goals!

AFM: the water shed has begun. I went from 254 yesterday to 250.4 today. I'm hoping for an even bigger drop tomorrow morning. I've been 100% on plan today and moved my butt a lot more than I have been. It's been a good day

Start: 254
Current: 250.4
Goal: 235

so i first weighed in at 235.6 and said not possible so I reset the scale and lo and behold 242.4 which means it has likely been misreading me the past couple days. I knew it was too good to be true lol

Start: 254
Current: 248.8
Goal: 235

I'm chugging water like a champ and it's really helping me shed the fluid.

It's nice to see so many new faces here!

Who would want to join me for a one-week hyperfocus week (induction levels or whatever "back to basics" approach you prefer)?

I'm tired of these long stalls, and I know the first step is usually back to basics.

I was thinking we'd each post our menus for the day, any exercise, carb counts, etc?

I was thinking to start on Monday

Good morning,

July 4th Challenge GW: 144
4/21 152*
4/22 152*
4/23 152.8*
4/24 153.6
4/25 152.4
4/26 151.4

Sarah, I started back to basics on Thursday after my conference when I saw 153.6 and scared myself silly. During the Easter challenge I didn't lose an ounce, except the up and down ones, so I thought I'd best go back to induction levels and track everything.

I'm not really able to exercise right now because of my hurt ankle, but my general routine is 30-90 minutes 6-7 days a week.

I would join you on menus on Monday.

Anyone else?

Good Morning, yes it is. I had a fantastic WHOOOOSH last night. Back in the 140's. Yippee! So being hyper focused on carbs really helps me. I'm back, finally, to my March weights. Trying Perfect Health Diet really wasn't good for my body. I can fool myself about carbs + me, but then I have to wake up and face the reality.

July 4th Challenge GW: 144
4/21 152*
4/22 152*
4/23 152.8*
4/24 153.6
4/25 152.4
4/26 151.4
4/27* 149.8

1249 calories, 25 net carbs. I'm going with net carbs because allowing celery to crunch on and some other low carb veggies will help me stay on this longer.

Welcome to everyone new! Great to have more energy joining in to help us stay motivated. I see a few races in the making here!

Easily, that's a very impressive loss of water weight. Mine generally takes weeks. It took me 4 days to drop 2 cookies carb weight this week.

It's goin to be fun watching you and Sue battle for the teens.

Speaking of which, SUE!!!! You're halfway to the teens!!!! You're having a great week. It can't all be water weight because isn't this a new low for you?
