Sue, hydrate hydrate hydrate!

Pixie, I see you peeking at a new low of the last two weeks!

Sarah, kid free!!! You have fun! I came home from my first kid free with sinus infection, bronchitis and double pneumonia. Good thing I was off partying with my doctors wife. Instead of the hospital I ended up in their guest room for two weeks.

Ali, you're off to a great start!

Lulu, is it easier to fix meals with your husband dieting?

Let's all have fun today!

OMG I do not know what my trainer did to me yesterday but my whole shoulder upperback area is KILLING me. I think it was Bear Crawls, it was the first time I've done those.

So on the school front, I took my third final yesterday, it went really well. I was between an A and B in that class and am now solidly in the A range. I will get an A or an A- depending on participation points and (possibly) if he round a 92.739 to a flat 93 to bump me up... I hate the +/- system it can seriously screw your GPA up

Lulu! Happy Anniversary! That is quite an accomplishment to have shed and additional 30 unwanted pounds this year! I had to laugh about 2/4 slices if toast.

Pixie, way to go on acing that class.

I'm so glad it's the weekend. these last 4 months have been my most stressful on any job in the last 45 freaking years. I think it's going to get better. I want to hang in there because I'm only 17 months from Medicare. I definitely don't want to retire for several years because I love the money for traveling. Retirement will mean more budgeting and less extra like great vacations.

Time for me to try to really allign with Atkins 72 to get off this mini plateau.

Thanks everyone!!! Re-dedicating to Atkins to see where I can be at the end of May!! Keep think about JerseyGyrl's mantra...if you want something you never had...you must be willing to do something you've never done.

Pixi - I had to google bear crawls - yikes!!! I don't think I could do that exercise yet!! Probably is why you are in pain....hope it gets better real soon!!

Calee - Thanks for poking me in the butt....I needed it to get motivated again and move towards goal!!

Happy Mothers Day to any mothers. I woke to a lovely email from Zach. Will Skype later if our timing works. He is 9 hours ahead of me.

I ate on plan yesterday. Walked a 5k. Maybe sodium? Dunno. Had a minor blip today. Easier for me on weekdays while at work. Nothing to nibble on.

Yesterday: 1073 calories, 20 carbs-6 fiber. Shouldn't be. Weight gainer. Oh well. This week push is to be down to less than 148. I can do it!

Everyone is doing so well!

Calee : love the goal size 6 capris, that is great! And especially thanks for telling your story, debunking the myth that this happens overnight - we see so many people join this site, complain they're not losing as fast as they "should" and then never reappear - we can think our own journeys aren't "on track" but in fact it's a long, winding road...

Lulu : wow, 30 pounds down, thanks for showing the way! Your steadiness is an inspiration to me

We had a really nice weekend. Slept without listening for the kids. Took a hot bath with nobody barging in, nor wanting to join me (well, husband wanted to join but it was a small tub!). Did a lot of walking saw some nice art. Ate really really well - and we'll just say that I've "carb backloaded" for several months, and put it behind me and get back on track today.

Weight is up a few pounds, as I expected, will put the numbers in later this week - I suspect the scale might move up again in the next day or two before it starts back down, so I'll post the truth but only once I've seen the downward numbers start to appear again so that I'm in the right frame of mind...

Good morning!

Sarah, I'm glad you had a lovely weekend!

Easily, your scale will start down again. Congrats on closet cleaning. Changing sizes is a big deal!

I had a Mother's Day splurge of 2 cups of organic raspberries and two slices of mini Roma tomato rounds with fresh Burrata cheese and pesto. I ate out twice. Once a juicy bunless cheeseburger th was stellar. Second was at my neighbor upstairs. I ate the tomatoes, 1 pork rib and some lettuce. Came in at 22 net carbs. Today it's back to very little except meat and eggs. Time to get scale moving this week.

I think I have to keep my eye on a weekly goal.

Sue, are you back to very low carbs? Let's get those pounds off. What's your game plan this week? what's your main focus? Have you had nough birthday treats? If I remember correctly you still have celebrations this week? You can choose to celebrate how far you've come instead of indulging. Is it your dad's birthday? He'd rather see you healthy than indulging in cake. Do this for you.

I have to do something differently because I'm still sitting at my new setpoint. In January it was 153, now it's 149. I've been out of Pilates for a month due to ankle injury, but I'm trying a class tonight. I'm hoping I'm good to go back this week.

Yesterday: 1058 calories. 12 carbs, 1 fiber. Walk 30 minutes. I'm going to try lowering protein from meat this week. Might add in a protein shake with 3 carbs.

Congrats on your anniversary Lulu!
Way to go Ali! Great job staying on plan on mother's day!

UhOh Sue...time to tow the line lol. Seriously...Calee and I want to see you make the 100 lb goal!! It is staring you in the face...so I'm wondering... can you hit that 100 lb mark before I get to onederland? You up for a little challenge? (Or RACE as Calee would call it). Just let me know

Ah...this week on the peds floor was pure torture! A very stressful week...one of those that makes you feel you deserve carbs lol, plus it was nurses week so there was food everywhere! Keylime cupcakes with cream cheese icing (my weakness, just the icing lol), assorted pastries, subs and chips, and then the last day...doughnuts. 12 long hrs with doughnuts staring me in the face begging me to eat them So...I ate 2 small bite of my favorite one (which of course is the worst one with icing in the center and chocolate on top). Overall I think I did fantastic! But it was a STRUGGLE!
Good luck to everyone this week. May we all recover from the various celebrations that have tried to sabotage us!!

Hey all! sorry I went silent, I went to my aunt and uncles place over the weekend and came home yesterday morning, then I spent all day yesterday cramming for last night's final. but now I am done!!! woot! but only for 2 weeks lol boo summer classes

anyways, my diet lasted 24 hours at my aunts house, which is 23 hours longer than it usually lasts so small victory I suppose. It was my cousin rebekah's birthday so cupcakes were my downfall. then yesterday I had a personal pizza for lunch and a sub for dinner as I had been craving both for ages.

back into it today though! I will be back with regularly scheduled weigh ins tomorrow
