Hey everyone! I've read through and will come back to respond.

Sue - I'm due July 8th but set for my 3rd csection on July 1st. We already had a 4 yr old boy and a 2 yr old girl so this baby is a surprise. It has been the easiest and most fun decision I think we've ever made during a pregnancy. The unknown is being awesome!

AFM: I did really well for a few days, then we had a family dinner and I was like a drug addict released in a pharmacy. I'm pretty sure I ate enough carbs for the week in about 30 minutes. It was ridiculous and I knew what I was doing and my inner voice was saying "Don't do it." and the junky in me shut her up by eating more food.

Ok, in all honesty, I didn't actually do too badly. Maybe 500 cals over for the day and about 100 carbs. The calories don't effect me all that much but my body LOVES to hold on to every carb I look at. I know better. Why do they taste so good?! I've ended with a 7 lb gain in 2 days. I was sick yesterday and still feel bad today (probably from the crappy food) and didn't worry with diet yesterday and just ate bites here and there. Oh well, I'm doing the right thing today and I'm just praying, at this point, that I don't end this pregnancy higher than my starting weight last summer (275.4). I would LOVE to end this pregnancy in the 220s but I'm trying to be practical.

Start: 254
Current: 255.8
Goal: 235

Calee- I think we were posting right about the same time cause when I was posting your post didn't show up yet lol I haven't tried the quest ones, I do eat the quest protein bars fairly often though. The Atkins ones are 160 calories, 7 carbs, 5 fiber, 2 protein, 13 fat. And you get two cups about the same size as the regular reese's ones. Maybe slightly smaller but not by much if it is.

Hi gang!

Too much sodium yesterday! I got signed up for a three day conference in Palm Springs May 18-20. It's a lways a carb Fest. I have to skinny down before I go so that I don't do damage to my summer goals. Saying this to help me stay focused.

May 1 149.8. I have weighed within a pound of this on feb, march, April 1st. Time to make a Difference on June 1st!

Hi! I was really out of it ysd. I hit edit instead of quote on my last post to pick up my stats and managed to lose the original post. I didn't realize it until I thought I was in the Twilight Zone because my new post was above all the previous replies. Anyway, feel a bit better today.

Sue, fantastic job lady! Once you whiz by me, I'm going to grab your coattails on the way down.

PikiKat, Wow, 10 lbs gone since 4/21! WTG! College is brutal. It took me 5 years to graduate. So stressful trying to keep those A's. I haven't tried the Atkins pb cups, but I have been hearing about them and the M&Ms, I think. I always liked the nut chews and I never over-indulged because they really got my bowels moving if I didn't practice portion control.

I've been wanting to try the Quest bars, I hear they are delish! I have them on my Amazon Wish List.

Calee, I bet you are below goal before the conference! Great job on all that exercise. Glad your ankle is still okay. I do the same thing with my plan. I normally don't eat cheese unless I am scrambling eggs, but if I get too close to the 6 hour mark of not eating or am starving before meal time, I'll eat an ounce of cheese to get by. Dr A says eat within 6 waking hrs and don't go hungry, yep! Definitely keeps me from over-eating at the next meal.

Nagazim, I think you are doing awesome! If you are like me, you'll lose over 20 lbs in the first 24 hours after birth. I was holding a ton of water weight with the baby weight.

Well, I finally made it back to my lowest of the year/in years. I was 222.4 on 2/28; 222.2 on 3/6; 222.0 on 4/4. Talk about a slow loser...and that was with no breaks until the one I had on April 12th. Anyway, I am going to shoot for 1 lb a week. All I can do is do my best. I do have a birthday the first week of June so I am going to try to stay on Induction at least through May.

Pixikat - I drive myself nuts over wanting perfect grades. Missing the one question is almost as bad as failing the test. So close to perfection. Way to go for acing a final!

Easily - sodium creeps up on me even when I'm trying my hardest to cut it out. Good for you for no soy and portion control. I have to remind myself of these things all the time!

Sue - This whole pregnancy has stayed very surreal feeling. We didn't expect it and have been so busy with our other babies that we haven't had time to slow down and enjoy it the same way. It may just be how it is when you get into the "over 2 kids" group. My original goals were to be at or under 180 by May 15th. I'm bummed I won't hit it anytime soon. So I'm just hoping for under 200 (or lower) by my birthday Oct 25th. The summer heat is not going to be enjoyable but it will be bearable since we have a pool =] It just needs to be in the 80s for a week and I'm hopping in!

Day 1, DONE! I'm so proud of me because literally staying on track has become so hard. I've just gotten out of the habit of "Needing" to make healthy choices so it's easier to not worry about it. Now I've gotta get something together for supper. Making good choices! I hope everyone is having a fabulous Thursday. I'm always more hungry on Thursdays. No idea why.

Start: 254
Goal: 235

easily amused - I am NOT 10lbs down, I was at 238/239 then I went out of town for easter weekend and ate carbs all weekend so I retained a bunch of water. I wish I was down that much

Sounds like you guys are doing great with your focus challenge!
Hope your finals go great Pixi! My daughter has them this week and next.
I think you will make your goal Calee. If your like me it's easier when you have a trip or special occasion your working toward! I go on a mission trip to Peru every 1-2 years and I try to always have my weight down some and be walking 3 miles a day before I go, so that the high altitude doesn't bother me as much. Plus the airplane seat fits better lol!
Nagazim I think you are doing awesome to even be doing a diet/WOE during a pregnancy!
Great job reaching that low weight Easily Amused! You and Sue will be joining me soon in the 2-teens.

I'm getting really frustrated here. I know the problem is me and my inability to keep my calories low enough. The only times I have steadily lost was when I was doing slim fast and stuck to 1200 calories a day and used their shakes bars and had lean cuisines for dinner. I don't remember being constantly as hungry then as a am now but I think it was because I was busier there and no way to get food between scheduled meals/snacks. I also was broke so I couldn't just decide to go out for dinner. Some days I am ready to say screw real food and go back to slim fast, lean cuisines and fruit snacks. ----end rant----

pixikat - Some days I wish I didn't know how good clean eating is for me, or how bad processed junk is for me. Then I could continue to eat in ignorant bliss and not have to put forth so much effort into meal prep/cooking. I hope a big whoosh is coming your way!

newme - if anything, the idea of a diet has kept me from totally going nuts with weight gain. I haven't kept with it for more than 2 weeks at a time during this entire pregnancy but have managed to come back to healthy eating after every backslide. I think that in itself is a success for me since I normally gain 70 lbs while "eating for two."

Sue - no salt would probably be good for me. I use sea salt and try to not eat anything packaged, but I know some still creeps in. Sugars are being easier this go around but I've promised myself to not go too low on carbs so I'm eating fruit at least once a day and that's help my with my sugar addiction.

Today is officially day 3 and in the 2 previous days I've lost 6.2 lbs of water weight! That's NUTS! My body is feeling so much better. I feel like I can actually breathe and that maybe there's a little more room for baby to grow in the next 9 weeks. I'm gonna be thrilled to see July though! So, marching onward into the weekend with determination to NOT eat crappy food.

Great job NewME!

Sue...4 days in the 24's not too shabby. Your body just wants to adjust before it moves on down.

Calee, I'm glad I don't like pork rinds! I would never be able to do portion control with that crunch.

Pixi, I feel you! Believe me, if one more person told me that I must be underestimating my carbs and calories or overestimating my exercise, I was going to completely lose it.

Nagazim, way to go!

I hope I don't jinx it, but I have officially broken my 9 week stall weight. Just a tad, but I will take it! I have had very little dairy during my 12 days of Induction and just today drank something that wasn't water so hopefully it doesn't put me back in stall mode. I know it really upset my bowels after having no artificial sweeteners in 2 weeks.
