One thing I've learned from several years on diet forums is that absence from such a forum is invariably a bad sign...

So my feeble presence last week was no exception, I stumbled 2 weekends ago, somewhat recovered during the week, and then fell, HARD this past weekend.

I was eating total crap, industrial ice cream, whipped cream direct from a can, huge portions of baguette with butter, croissants, desserts, you name it.

The scale went over 190 on Sunday, and my eating was even more out of control Sunday than on Saturday. I didn't weigh in yesterday, so I'll never know exactly how bad it got...

But I did get myself back on track yesterday (Monday) - carefully controlled my eating all day, knew I'd be hungry & cranky for a few days and just accepted it. I was happy to see that Sue had started a one-week induction challenge, right when I need it.

And the scale is back in the 180s today. I've given up my hopes of reaching 179 by the end of the month and am being more pragmatic now - get my weight to the lower part of the 180s, and then hold all summer in the 180s.

And I'm going back to daily weighing (I missed several days last week and I think it was part of why I lost focus).

Glad I had this group to come back to - I know you all understand.

SARAH... LOLOLOLOL I love the banner post! I thank you!!!! and shoot.. I know exactly what you are saying! When I have had my slip ups and wanted to fade away into the night... You and Calee (WHERE IS SHE??!!), Pixi, Lulu and others kept encouraging me to continue and just keep posting. It really does work! I am looking forward to watching the short term weight gain MELT off of you!!!

Pixikat! SOOOOo Glad that the 30's were a good decade.. yep.. Short and Sweet!.. Now the ROARING 20's are just right there at your doorstep I am glad that everything has just clicked in for you... and that recipe... any idea of tsp, tbsp etc?? I am not good about conversions LOL Yeah and I LOVE math too...

I'm here. Don't think I miss a word of what's said. I have my son Zach home for 10 days. Eating Primal. More bigger salads, a bit of berries so higher carb. Definitely more event eating with different friends that want to see him. We have a friend flying in for the weekend. She has a film in the festival as well. Lots to celebrate. I am keeping up my work and exercise routine.

I will definitely be back on Atkins 72 next week!

Sue - 100lbs gone, how awesome...you definitely inspire me.

Sarah - you and I are in the SAME boat ...I also have had REALLY bad weekends the last two weekends...also tons of bread and butter and ice cream, doughnuts, etc ...I like you went back on yesterday and am gonna try REALLY hard not to do it again this weekend...these nice Summer weekends are making me weak ...although I feel so full and stuffed and tired after.

One OP day down yesterday ...lots more to go, haha

I'm too ashamed to come in here but I guess I will come in and own up, yesterday I went home from work early because I wasn't feeling well ( cramps and headache from my TOM ), I ended up needing to go to the store and bought a package of Chip a Hoy cookies ...I ate the entire package but six cookies ...I totally binged I guess ...I also had Cheetos ...

I don't know what my problem is, I've been trying to so hard to get into the 100's and I'm so close and I just keep sabataging myself

So that's my truth, and my shame ...today I start over ...which I hate because it takes me 3-4 days now to even start burning fat again.
