CONGRATS to Firegirl who dropped 5 lbs in just 2 days!! WOW!

This is a challenge for anyone! Anyone and everyone is welcome! You do not need to follow this plan. You can start anytime and weigh in as often as you want.

The challenge is to see who can lose 5 lbs the fastest! If you do...then YOU WIN! (in more ways than one!)*

So it will be clear when YOU are the winner please list today's start weight, your current weight, and your goal weight for this challenge each time you log in your weight. (See mine as an example)

Down 1 more lb this morning! Losing at this rate helps keep me motivated to keep those carbs down and the exercise up. I made it to the pool again today. I'm gonna' try for 3-peat, but I look for the losses to start slowing down any day now.

Sue, don't let the up scale get you down. We all have times like those. I don't have to deal with TOM anymore since my hysterectomy, but I remember the 3-4 lb weight gains overnight back when I did. My recent surgery removed my remaining ovary so I was afraid that it would be harder for me to get the weight down since my hormones are still adjusting to the new estrogen therapy. I guess the doc guessed it pretty close because it hasn't hindered it thus far. My biggest hurdle was breaking 192. I stayed there for four days.

I had something new at lunch that I really enjoyed. I fixed a big salad with two small grilled chicken strips on it. I purchased some Pico de gallo at Walmart yesterday and added three teaspoons to my lettuce, 4 olives, 1/4 cucumber, green onion salad and topped it with two tablespoons of peppercorn ranch dressing with freshly grated peppercorn medley. The little bit of tomato, sweet pepper, cilantro and onion in the Pico really made the salad enjoyable.

Hello Firegirl... no Tom for me either... (been 8 years since my last time).. but I still have hormonal weeks and since I got down to the 240's.. I have gotten stronger hormonal weeks (fat releases stored Estrogen I have been told).. LOL so NOW I get flashes GEEEZZZZZ

I just get so outta wack with that employee (who is the bully) at work. Somedays she is aok and then every once in awhile its like she wants to WACK me (Mentally). I think its because I try and stay so cheerful and she does not like that.. So it got to me yesterday.. Today was a different day! Going forward again!

Carol.. I see you knocking on the teens.. OOOOOOOOOOO I am squealing in delight for you!

Sue,

I feel for you sister with the mental case employee. I used to work with several of them at EMS. I realized that they too couldn't stand my positive, cheerful personality so the meaner they acted, the happier and more cheerful I became. It worked perfectly. I may be crying out inside, but they never knew it.
