The surgery last year was somewhat successful. I had another similar surgery one month ago. I am now feeling much better.
I didn't make it back on here last week as there was a problem with my login info. I just got it straightened out today. no matter though...I had a rough time getting going on my Atkin's plan last week in addition to starting my pool exercises led to a week on only losing 2 lbs. I appear to be doing much better this week. I am reserving Friday for my weigh-in. I am in full ketosis with the stick showing 80 (Large).
I am going to the pool to exercise on Monday and Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings because I have to get ready for the Farmer's Market we participate on Saturday mornings. I shaped up well two year's ago so I hope this proves to work the same. I have learned that I can't quit exercising unless I want to flab right back up.
I might add that my motivation is very strong because when the doc did my recent surgery, he gave me pictures of the organs he removed. These pics showed mainly a yellow substance that looked identical to chicken fat I remove before cooking chicken breast when it has been left on at the grocery. The reason it looked like fat is it was. I have since cut one of the pics off to put on my fridge, one on my full length mirror and one for my wallet. Hopefully, this will be a constant reminder of why I must stay on plan and keep the exercise up.
