Hi MsChris, I know what you mean about not weighing in daily. I'm frustrated, too, today. Hate that scale. LOL

Welcome, Firegirl!

Good luck with the sleep training Sarah.
Good job on the 2 lbs Mara.
Sorry your scales aren't cooperating Sue. I'm saving your spot and keeping the door open! Smith...I had a dream about a week ago that I was eating honey buns. I ate 2 and then remembered I was not suppose to be eating that! My weight was even up the next day!
Yes... weighing everyday you definitely see all the ups and downs. Try not to get discouraged! Your weight is going to vary on a daily basis as a result of how much salt you ate the day before, or even how late you ate or drank.! I pick one day a week as my "weekly" weigh in day. That's when I really see a difference, and when I reflect on how the diet is working for me and whether I need to make changes for the next week.

Sleep training is going great! For the first time in 9 1/2 months I didn't get up with a baby in the night! Hoping my daughter repeats the feat tonight!

Sarah - Congrats on getting your little one to sleep through the night. I gave my little ones hops pillows and added rice or oatmeal to their last feeding of the night starting at 1 month. They did great about sleeping all night with those two little tricks.

Carol - I AM getting discouraged, but I'm still going to try though it maybe on Monday...

I'm sick along with most of my household. Fever, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing and a horrible headache. I had to take a pain pill (Excedrin migraine extra-strength) and took some Cold-C (Vitamin C with Echinacea) and Probiotics starting yesterday. None of them have sugar or grain as an ingredient. I'm not eating other than water and chicken broth. I'm still in Ketosis according to the keto-stix, but the scale is just CRAZY!!

I'm really thinking this is going to be a weekend off. I want some old fashioned chicken noodle soup with some hot mint tea, lemon and honey like my mom used to fix when I was little and got sick.

Oh, WOE is me...

I'm sorry your not feeling well MsChris! I had a stomach virus about a month ago and just ate chicken broth and water. You probably just have some water retention from being sick. Hope you feel better soon!

Two nights in a row my daughter has slept through! Phase 2 of our plan nearing completion, tomorrow night we will put her brother back in the kids room and hope that goes well too (he's a great sleeper and we've been having him sleep in another room while we've gotten her used to the kids room).

Chrisyln, hope you feel better soon!

Sue...as I've said before...you have been doing this a long time, and have come so far! 90 lbs is A LOT! Your body has to adjust physically and mentally. You will get there, I have complete faith in you!

Newme.. you are doing Great! and I Know.. I do.. sometimes my slip ups just break me and I have to start over again and again. For the last 6 months it has happened to me. I am just trying to find that groove again that I had in January. Thank you for your encouragement

Good Morning!

MsChris I hope you are feeling better.

Newme watch you go!

You got this Sarah! How did the sleep training go once you moved your son back in the room?

Sue maybe the influx is weather related. Goodness knows it affects everything else.

I am up, but it could have been worse.

Sleep training can be called a tentative success. She woke in the night and we went to get her, having not thought through how we'd get her calmed and back into her bed yet now that her brother is back in their room. He was cooperative, which was nice. I need to talk to a few friends with kids the same ages to see how they handled bedtime routines because that was hectic enough without managing the same room and now I'm just not finding timings and logistics that work well... So a good start, but room for improvement for sure.
