Default How much of this is water weight?

So I started the Atkins diet three days ago. I started at 130 and I'm now 124. However, I can't seem to notice a difference in my face, legs, belly, etc. I've also been drinking a ton of water, about 8+ cups a day. I did however donate blood to the Red Cross on Day 2. Yes, I know, how stupid can I be but in my defense I had scheduled it while back and didn't want to break my commitment. My nose is a bit stuffy so I don't notice any change in the way my pee smells. Back the main question: how do I know it's water weight that I'm losing and not fat? Thanks!

Goldngrl - I know most of the initial weight is water.. but it is different for everyone. Losing "fat" will show up and you will see the difference - it just takes time to show as it also redistributes in your body when it is lost...but please be careful about losing weight too fast too and remember... Your body is important as it carries around the most important thing in life - YOU!

You have to believe it first and then you will see it!!
