12/24 244.6 (-4.8 total) weeeee .2 off... I will take it and RUN! LOL ate some of my Christmas Cookies last night.. oh oh bad WannaSue LOL so I might have been lower... but that is AOK! Christmas cookies come but once a year! Going to work off calories wrapping gifts this morning!
12/26 246.8 (-2.6 total) Gain due to Christmas eve and day dinners (2) and breakfast and cookies. AOK.. won't have to worry about this until next year

Hmmm - have been back on low carb since Thursday, but eating more food, in particular more protein and more cheese than usual. And not tracking. Will cut cheese after 1/1 for a week or more and also go back to tracking.

Success yesterday having a Christmas dinner at my mother-in-law's without high-carb deviations. Plan to do the same for New Year's Eve, although it will be higher in calories/protein/cheese than usual.

omg i have been off track, eating christmas goodies esp choc (at 3 am mind you!) …
oh…
well my mum talked some sense into me and i am going to get BACK ON TRACK!
i am bloated and i feel fat aghh it's awful.
ok now i must re-assess my diet and decide exactly what i'm going to do here…i mean which optifast phase i'm going on now …tonight i will have only optifast for dinner i think.
of course, optifast, but which phase and where to now?
ok, i'll do intensive for a week, then transition as i was doing before that upside-down week i've had. thank god for mothers, eh? i didn't dare tell her about the chocolates in the middle of the night. i was just about to eat some of that ice cream that's in the freezer. it's so hot out and i want it….nononono no no no shell no shell! (my friends call me shell)

i'm back in the game! but i won't weigh myself again until next tuesday!!!!!!

Pixikat YAY for the DOwn DOWN DOWN!! I am so glad to see it! and I bet even more today... as I am hot on your feet!

Saraphin... This time of the year is so hard to get around the food land minds. The goodies are always there right in front of you and offered to you by all well meaning happy people as they want to celebrate with you. It is tough.... But..... I bet, now that you have a plan and are getting back in gear.. that water weight (Which is what most of the bloatiness is .... TRULY!.... will go bye bye! can't wait to see it!

WELL HOORAY for me... Lowest weight since 1/6/13... so far! OH I might just get 1/2 way by the 6th... 3.8 more lbs.. cdan I do it! If I set my mind to it I CAN!

There are more challenges this time of year for sure. Yesterday had a lovely and low carb lunch with a good friend while my husband generously watched the babies but it was at an Asian place and very high sodium (and maybe some hidden sugars in the soup) and so my weight is again the same. Tonight will be too much low carb foods, don't expect weight to go down at all.

sadly my body likes it right here! Maybe more will flush off for New Years, or I may bump up more, we ate out last night. I had a lamb burger with no bun and broccoli with butter and we had some deviled eggs as our appetizer so I was OP but sodium may rear its head

Last night was low carb but plenty of cheese and whipped cream and a big plate of berries was my only indulgence that wasn't low carb. Calories were high, and I'm sure the cream and cheese and carbs from the fruit will have a scale impact for a few days. Today's New Year lunch we hosted, so I was in control of the food, but again a but too much cheese, whipped cream and berries. Now the berries go to my kids, the cheese is back in the cheese box, and I'm seriously considering throwing the remaining whipping cream down the sink because otherwise I'll be the one to consume it...

I suppose either today's weight or tomorrow's will be the final say on what the holidays brought. A couple of pounds, no big deal, and I got back on the low-carb path after the 25th (after a 3 day detour, which was excessive but I never totally checked out and ate crazily). Last couple of days have been strictly low carb just high calories, which in the past has translated to a stable weight, maybe a pound or two up. Again, for the peace of mind it gave me to be indulging in "my" food while everyone around me had theirs, that's totally worth it.

I got alot of hugs and kisses from wonderful friends last night... and ..... when I left the room I listened in on conversation about me.. OH MY!...The Cute strong willed guy just kept saying how wonderful and HEALTHY I looked and my walking friend just kept saying how much I had lost (70.. really its 77+ but that is ok) and on and on, on how I am more energetic and walk circles around him... But to hear that I looked great and HEALTHY.. oh that was a BIG TIME NSV! (non scale victory for the newbies!) ahhhhh My head and soul felt awesome last night... Can't wait to see what is said about me 12/31/14!!!!

wannaskip you will not win this challenge….only ½ a kilo away but that takes a week of stong-willed dieting to get of.. haha. now, me

well, i've been OP badly. in the middle of the night. i got up last night and at 2 spong finger biscuits and a huge spoonful of low fat ice cream! before i went to bed i had 6 slices of watermelon and a heap of cherries and i fell asleep BLOATED AGAIN ohhhhh me oh my.

no. the trouble was, as i talked with my DH about it, was CALORIE AMNESIA!

i forgot i had decided to do the INTENSIVE phase of my diet!!!!! so i ate ham, prawns and salad for dinner, before completely ruining myself on the fruit, and mid-morning feast!!!!!

no more.

enough. i WILL win this challengs, wannaskip you had better watch out i'm chugging along…..i will not weigh myself again until , well you said SUNDAY so i'll do SUNDAY because you are. hang on, sunday is different for us ..you know, the time zones. i get there before you i think.
it's thursday 10.30 am now.what time do you make it?

anyway, happy new year again, friends. here's hoping you can get back OP with mew. xmas/new year yummy foods really messed with me. i'm not in control yet…food still controls me unfortunately. that's whsay i must go through ALL the optifast phases properly, so it teaches me how to approach food sensibly.

all i can say is, thank god the cherries are gone.

but what about the nougat? and the fruitcake my mother made? and the ice cream? and the biscuits? ohhhh. i think i'll make more cofffee.

NYE celebrations put me back to needing to lose the water weight! Lots of coffee planned for today. Also cleaning, that burns calories, I wrecked the kitchen cooking on New Years, and drinking, cooking while drinking seems to equal me making a huge mess. We were lazy yesterday and ordered pizza instead of cleaning lol.
