You are very welcome

I follow Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 and I count net carbs (total carbs minus dietary fiber). I have always kept my carbs on the low side and don't typically eat over 50 net carbs per day.

I would suggest you re-read your book. Even during the Induction phase, you can eat A LOT of food on Atkins!!

It hasn't been 20 years, more like 10. I had a gastric bypass in 2001 but never learned to eat so the 150 I lost is creeping back up. I know this is how I should eat but these first few days are going to be hard because I am a sugar and carb addict! Hope to hang with you all and get encouragement. I am also on Myfitnesspal as Twinsmommy2006.

Oh, and I am a 44 yo stay at home mom of twin 7 yo girls!
