Already low(ish) carb diet - will Atkins work for me?
Hi, I have what is probably a dumb question. I have been on a diet for 14 weeks. It is going well but I have plateaued lately. I am thinking about trying to jump start the weight loss again by switching to Atkins. My current diet is already low(ish) carb (consume 60-80 g/day) with all of them coming from vegetables except for two pieces of low calories bread 2x/day.
My question is: If I am already low(ish) carbs, is Atkins going to jump start my weight loss? Thank you.
It might, some people find it easier to lose weight on Atkins.
I lost a ton of weight two years ago but very slowly with weight lifting and calorie counting. I got to my goal within a month of doing Atkins, losing 14 lbs. I just had a baby and I'm on it again and I've had good success with it so far
I suggest reading the book and see if you can do it.
