Default Exercise During Induction?

Can anyone out there tell me if exercising during the induction phase really speeds up the weight loss process? When I lost weight w/Atkins years ago, I never exercised and the weight melted off. Now I'm about 8 years older and I'm wondering if I should exercise while doing Atkins to melt off the fat at a steady pace...or should I just stick with the way I did it before.

I try to do something each day, I feel like I lose more if I worked out the day before. I lift weights or I'll go for walks with the stroller.

I think they recommend exercise now, even if it's just a walk each day.

I know I read in the book that you're not doing Atkins correctly if you're not exercising. I think I'll skip exercise this first week and start working out 5 days a week on my elliptical on Monday.

I've heard or read something (can't remember if it was the book or someone on one of the forums) that you can skip exercise when you start induction if your not used to it, then slowly add it in. I actually started weight lifting again because I felt so good from being on Atkins, haha.
