I will be 50 June 1 and my family's annual beach trip starts the next day. My goal is to weigh 125 by my 50th birthday so I am making it official. Once I figure it out I will put a counter thingy in my signature.
Who wants to join me in a summer weightloss challenge?
Hi All . . . I'll still need to be losing by summer so will be with you in spirit, but going to just be in shorter challenges so I stay accountable/focused. Right now focused on Valentines Day in that Challenge Thread.
ETA: I really needed to come to my senses last December when I turned 50 myself grace . . . but decided to make age 51 this last December my epiphany, lol!

I am in a stall and getting frustrated. I know I have only been on it for a week and a half and to be patient but that is just not in my DNA. Now I am responsible to an extent. Day before yesterday I had a small piece of birthday cake at the office but I had few carbs otherwise and drank lots of water which usually helps. I did not expect to lose the next morning but now the second day and I am up .6. Not happy. I had scrambled eggs and bacon and not the low carb tortilla for breakfast this morning. Hopefully that will help. Drinking lots of water.
The cake will cause weight gain. Keep up the low carb, and usually it will come right back off. I would stay away from the low carb tortillas if your in induction, that can slow weight loss down also.
I had a horrible week, didn't even want to look at the scale, so I'm back on track today, and will check the scale in a few days.

Getting frustrated. Cheated today and had 2 donuts. I know, I know. But I had been gaining and losing the same .4 pounds for a week. I figured this might shake things up which is does sometimes. We will see what tomorrow brings. I will lay off the tortillas but they are so convenient in the morning for breakfast on the go.
