My weight went UP this week, which is weird because nothing has changed. I am very satisfied with my diet and I don't much feel I need to change anything in that department. I guess this is my wakeup call that I need to get more active, I have been sitting around like a lump and not even walking my dog. So, gardening, walking, back-to-the-gym, yoga videos, abs workout, etc. Look out, Fall! Here I come!

Just checking in on the challenge, I am doing okay with my eating and have started exercising 3x a week and 4 days cardio. I am down to 200 pounds this morning, but I am hoping to be under 200 by weigh in day Thursday.

As soon as I made up the ticker for the challenge, I stalled out.

But it has been less than a week so I am not going to worry, just keep plugging along and trust my body to do its job.

I gotta get a grip again...I've been crashing off and on all week. I had a few drinks last Saturday night and of course sneaked in some of the normal high-carb finger foods. From that point on, I'd make it a day and a half on plan, and then would give in to the urge to eat junk food. Why do i do this to myself when I know how horrible i feel eating high-carbed foods and how easy it is to pack the pounds back on. Gotta get on track again!!

I have managed to stay OP and induction week has been good to me. My secret goal is to be in ONEderland by my birthday Dec 2. It looks like I might make it with a weigh in of 202 today!

You will be in onederland soon!

I'm changing things up a bit. I'm going to follow JUDDD. If you google it, there is a website explaining it. It's basically one day of low calories and one day of high calories. You alternate the two. You can follow any plan doing this, but you just have to stay in your calorie range.

I'm still going to follow a lower calorie WOE and avoid bread, sugar, cakes, etc, but I'm raising my veggie carbs some. This WOE is supposed to really boost weight loss. We will see

SASK: I feel your pain, man, do I. I fell off Saturday so bad, if I didn't want this bad enough I would have quit. I'm going to be as good as I can the rest of the week and weigh in next Saturday. We won't go into details. It bordered on binging.

Lor, ONDERLAND is so right around your corner. I'm feeling SO jealous. YOU GO GIRl!!

Violet: I believe what works for one may not for another and that we all have to find our own ways to succeed. I, for one, am interested in how you do. I know I often have a significant drop after a day of slipping off plan.

Well, Saturday was bad. Real bad. The old me would have called it over right there. But here I am, ready to go around again. Yay me! I've found I can live this way, if not perfectly all the time. I can make it my norm though.

Thumbs up menus

I was thinking that it might help me to start posting my menu, what do you think? Would we all benefit if we start journaling and be accountable? I know i dont get in enough protein cause i cant digest meats to well. So im always looking for easy protein to swallow. Sometime the protein drinks just get boring. So anyone want to join me starting Monday, i will post my meals. I will challenge myself, to get on the exercise bike for the 15 days , cause im so slack at it... good luck

Since I have 17 pounds to get to goal, I have decided to not start counting my "15 pounds by New Year's" until I get down to 15 pounds from my goal. Two pounds from now I will start counting my ticker.

In other words, I really have to lose 17 pounds by New Years. But I won't even start my ticker until after I have lost two more pounds. Think I can do it?

I ate a slice of cheesecake today. But at least it was low-carb cheesecake.

Are we weighing in on a certain day every week for the challenge?

I had a little slip up yesterday with some pizza and some Halloween treats. But right back on track today and thankfully no gain this morning.

I really like the idea of this challenge. My weight has been weirdly stagnant for the past two weeks. Some of it was probably me being more lenient and not counting carefully, but even with tightening that up the numbers haven't moved this past week. I'm guessing it's because I've been at this for 8 weeks without cheating and a plateau needed to come along at some point.

For this week I'm cutting way back on dairy of all kinds. Drinking my tea and coffee black (no cream), cutting out most cheese (ok if it's a minor ingredient in a recipe, but cutting out snacks of cheese), cutting out the small amounts of greek yogurt I'd started to have. Hopefully that will help get things going in the right direction. I suppose the good news is that I am down 19 pounds from when I started, that's not too shabby overall!

Angry Plateau

I hit a plateau as soon as I signed on for this challenge. I also signed on for the 100 crunches a day challenge but I think I am going to have to ramp up the exercise a bit more if I want to lose these last 17 pounds.
