I make french toast for my kids allot. It is very hard to resist!

I've been doing really poorly with breakfast and lunch, not off plan but not eating much. I'm too lazy to cook myself something after I feed the kids.

So today I had
Breakfast, Coffee with cream and a piece of cheese.

Lunch. Coffee, left over green beans with Alfredo sauce and small piece of sausage.

Snack, piece of pepperoni and cheese and a pickle.

Dinner was Taco salad and hot wings. Yum!!!

Drank lots of water and felt pretty good today

Thanks Jersygrl! I Will try that It does sound good.

I had eggs and bacon for breakfast.
Coffee with cream
Had a late breakfast and was out and skipped lunch. (poor planning)
Cheese for A snack.
Dinner was roasted chicken and turnip, small piece of carrot and French onion dip.
Thinking about having a drink. I drink gin with water, lime and peppermint. So no carbs except for the lime. But I'm a little worried about it causing cravings. So maybe on the drink.

Sandyfanny, Whats a lavash?

OK, I was proud of yesterday. It was a day of good control in bad situations.

I had a 2 day long (no joking) donut craving going. Then I went to a meeting while still drinking my coffee with cream - and guess what. FRESH donut holes in little bags. Seriously. It's like the devil set it up. I ate exactly one of them in two bites with my coffee, ate it slowly, and resolved the craving. Devil defeated.

I forgot to pack me some "lunch meat" for my salad at work. They had cornmeal crusted fish in the cafeteria. It was a thin cornmeal. So I had big piece of fish and a good salad. Not bad..... Used to I would have had the fish, loaded baked potato, hush puppies, slaw... and more.

Supper - out with friends. Steak N Shake. I managed it well. I had Wisconsin buttery burger no bun, subbed salad for fries. I highly recommend that choice if you need to be in there. I concentrated on salad first then savored the burger. While I slowly savored that burger, my friends ordered brownie sundaes and tried to coax me into one. I finished my burger as they ate theirs and I didn't even feel like I needed one. Total resistance. Not even a stolen bite. I didn't want a sundae, I wanted that buttery beefy oniony cheesy goodness.

Ate a few pork skins with dip later that night for a snack. Willpower is MINE!

Been a cheat free day. YES YES YES!!

Kicked off the day with coffee and cream - my standard.

Lunch: leftover something or other I made last night with tomatoes, spaghetti squash, chicken, garlic, spinach, mushrooms plus diet mt dew. Yum.

Snack: Pepperoni stick, diet coke and some pork skins on way home from walmart.

Supper: Cheeseburger salad. Pretty good. Another diet coke.

Could be some sugar free jello later if I need it.

CHEAT FREE AGAIN!! I don't even care that I'm talking to myself. I held my ground today in the face of: ice cream, cake, chicken salad croissants, Combos, and ooey gooey butter cake. I rocked the diet today!!

Breakfast: coffee with cream - the usual
Lunch: pale salad (the usual ice berg ho hum type) in cafeteria - had no meat with me or available that I wanted. So, meatless.
Then during afternoon- avoided temptation at every turn in spite of all the coaxing from coworkers.
Supper: KFC 2 grilled thighs, slaw, green beans, water.
Snack: pork skin nachos. Pretty good!

I'm back!
Breakfast: 1 supreme pizza topping (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onions, jalapenos, olives, and peppers). I have 3/4 of a pizza that I need to eat so the toppings are better than nothing.
lunch: egg salad
dinner: possibly a salad from work with no croutons or a couple of hamburger patties.

Having a flooded basement drama today. Busted pipe, crotch deep water. NICE day.

Ate good, then slid off wagon, then ate good. Maybe stress and fatigue got me a little today.

Breakfast: coffee, cream, pepperoni
Lunch: chicken alfredo with spaghetti squash
Snack: whole bag popcorn oops
Supper: chicken curry with spinach - yum!
Snack: pork skin nachos - my current fave snack

I'm back on track now.

Back on plan after debauchery of yesterday's birthday celebration (no, it wasn't cake. I had pork steak (my fave), baked potato, fried okra, texas toast, baked beans, and 2 beers - my birthday tradition). Before we went to eat I had a BBQ salad (no kidding, BBQ twice), and coffee with cream.

Today, much better. Almost a revolt against yesterday's eating.

B: Coffee with cream, rest of pork steak.
L: atkins wild berry shake (love them)

So far, that's it. No cheats, no cravings, no nothing.

Supper: Not sure as I JUST drank the shake. But I have some ground beef thawed out so it will involve ground beef. And maybe zucchini? I have some beautiful baby zucchinis!
