rib eye, loaded salad (no carby stuff) and a few bites of more sourcream/butter than baked potato. It was fairly low carb. I ate the whole steak, and half the salad - and ended with a few bites of the sloppy mess on top of my potato.
The plan was chicken alfredo tonight, but DH's aunt is critically ill and we stayed with her too long, had an appt, went back to check on her, went to eat with MIL. We were starving, never a time to make budget decisions.
Tonight: after much debate we ended up at KFC (aunt still in hospital, MIL having surgery in AM, too little time tonight for anything). I did well. I ordered ala carte: 2 grilled chicken thighs, green beans, slaw. The girl couldn't believe I didn't want a biscuit. She looked sad for me. Really? And I added a bottle water - good girl! (I'm not a water drinker).
