Cookie sheet bacon -- oven baked bacon

I make bacon this way a lot because I don't like the inconsistent results of frying bacon in a pan. It's less clean up and I don't have to stand over the stove to watch it. I usually bake it on 350 to 375 for about 20 mins. I find that the lower temperature works better and for crispier bacon leave it in there longer. You do not have to flip it while cooking, it cooks through to both sides fine on the bottom rack. Drain on a paper towel. Reheat in the microwave.

I can usually squeeze 9 slices on the sheet. I already ate three slices when I remembered to take the pic. HAHAHA.

I've got one for you nacho lovers. I think the key may be the tortilla I use. It's honestly the best I've ever had and can be quite hard to find. I've waited up to a month until they were back in stock. I order from Netrition. If they are available, stock up! My freezer is full of them. Only 3 net carbs and taste amazing.

Ok, I preheat the oven to 350, line with parchment, and cover the tortilla with colby/jack cheese. Bake until you like how it looks. Top with chopped tomato, onion, jalapeņo, and cilantro. The tortilla gets crispy during the baking process. Nachos! Even better with some shredded chicken or beef. I will have this as a meal.

Default Cinnamon Pork Rinds

I am disturbed by this notion....yet intriqued enough at the same time to try these! If they are anything close to Cinnamon Stix from Taco Bell....I'm THERE!

I use Steakumms (but use that or any other frozen sandwich steak meat.)

brown 3 or 4 sections of the frozen meat in a pan with diced onions for flavor.
salt and pepper to taste.
melt provolone cheese on top. ( i use two slices)
serve on romaine lettuce "boats"
top with mayo, jalapeno's, a little ketchup, and/or mustard.
