Dasani has come out with new Essence Flavored Waters. Now...when I read the word "Essence" it tells me that there's an extract in the water flavoring it. Boy was I wrong!

I took a sip of the Lime flavored one yesterday and out of curiosity checked the label....5g of sugar per 250mL!!!

Why the **** is there sugar in water?? Whats wrong with just Lime flavor? This is no longer water IMO - this is now juice.

I shouldve known better than to drink anything the Coca-Cola company makes!

I know how terrible is that I drank the whole bottle then looked I about died lol really coca-cola is 250ml of sugar is that what we really needed

I drink Powerade Zero when I want a fruity drink... Yes it has sweetener in it, but I can't sweat them and lose weight too... I will tackle my addition to sweeteners when I am healthy enough for it to be an issue!!! I like the strawberry and the lime!!

Unless stuck somewhere, try not to buy bottled water. It is no better than tap water.

And you are totally right -- these "flavored waters" are weird. Better off putting in the lime or lemon slices yourself.

I tend to drink tap water. This was water that was in my fridge - my brother bought it so I figured it would be a nice change....wrong!

I hate water. I know water is our friend; I know it's essential for all living things, but I hate it. I am determined to learn to drink it, though. I like water in the form of something else, but I know it is a habit and I can change it.

I haven't been drinking the recommended 6-8 glasses - not even close - so yesterday I took advantage of staying home with my dental nonsense and drank 64 oz. Not impossible at all - but I ran to the bathroom a zillion times.

That part gets better, right? I haven't had the nice early weight loss we expect on Atkins and part of it is not drinking my water. So now I am.

I use ketostix and I hadn't showed any change at all until yesterday...I don't know if it took me that long to switch to burning fat or if I wasn't drinking enough water to flush it. Yesterday from mid-afternoon on, I was showing a deep purple/red on ketostix. I know it's no big deal, but I felt encouraged! And I'll take any encouragement I can find.
