Default Feeling like I'm going to be bad

Have you ever had a persistent feeling you were going to cave in and eat something full of carbs? What do you do when that happens?

I'm surrounded by healthy, tasty, nutritious foods right now: a big happy salad, delicious grilled chicken breast, cheese...

but I don't want any of it and I feel like I'm going to be bad. Any suggestions?

When that "bad" feeling hits, I go to Linda's website and make 1 of her recipes. Those recipes are probably thee BEST low carb recipes I have ever found. I've also learned to eat something higher in fat....the fat keeps you feeling satisfied. If you're wanting chocolate, a square or 2 of Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate does the trick. There is always greek yogurt, add some flavoring, a little cocoa, it tastes like a rich, chocolate pudding....ok, not quite, but the imagination is a wonderful thing!

Well I know that this is probably the wrong answer but I give myself permission to have a small piece rather than waiting til I out and out binge. I made pumpkin loaf for work the other day ... I tasted the batter because I really really wanted too, I licked one of the beaters ..... and I was done. I thnk that had I told myself absolutely no then i would have binged on the loaf afterward.

I am still losing, not as fast as some , 22 pounds since Jan 3, but fast enough for me.

Mmmm! Now that sounds good! Chocolate.

I think I am also just terribly thirsty. I suddenly remembered I am low, low, low on water for today.

Made some broccoli and cheese sauce and that seems to have helped too.

Now, to Linda's -- and BEYOND!!!

Thanks.

You are losing pretty fast, Shells! It's taken me about a month and a half to lose my 11 lbs (two of which came back this week with TOM and I'm hoping they will go away!)

I need to find the recipe which satisfied my chocolate cravings. I think it was in the original Atkins book. It was sugar free chocolate pudding made with heavy whipping cream - chill- it is awesome and just a bite or two will last you a loooong time since it is really rich.
