Default Off The Wagon - Climbing back in the saddle!

Unfortunately, I lost my focus around Christmas and used a week of being around family and friends as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted... and now, a little more than two months later I am still eating whatever I want. And it's really starting to show, 15 lbs up from where I was in December (~150). I feel like I am ready to recommit myself to Atkins but I need some support.

I have the worst cravings, what do you do when the urge to eat is the worst? I am definitely an emotional eater and my long distance relationship and career worries are taking their toll on my mental health. I feel ready to start doing the right thing.

Hope you won't be feeling low about the past for long! Once you get going with Atkins again, you'll feel better.

If you are an emotional eater, Atkins is a great way of life, since you actually have the option to eat if you need to. Just eat foods that are acceptable. Eat veggies, pickles, whole foods like meat and eggs, make sauces out of things that are allowed. Make yourself an Induction friendly sweet once in a while -- or if you really really need one, grab an Atkins bar or shake for the sweet tooth. (There aren't a lot of fans of those around, but honestly, they have saved my hiney lots of times!)
