Last night was a special occasion -- one that landed me in a Chinese restaurant on a Friday during Lent. I ordered some stir-fried vegetables with fried tofu in a spicy Szechwan sauce without sugar or corn starch (I had to ask to have it made that way, but the manager is a friend was very accommodating!) I passed on rice and noodles (who needs 'em?)
I ate only broccoli, green bell pepper, leek, a few water chestnut slices, and mushrooms. It was a minimal damage choice, given the options. But I can tell that I've had me some good ole' Chinese style sodium and MSG! So today I'm going to drink LOTS of water, take my vitamins, pedal my "bike" around WuHu Island a couple of times, and NOT weigh myself today!
Happy Saturday to everyone.
